I like it. Nice hire by Georgia and good for Kirby.
I dont like it for UGA.  Think it's risky.  They should go after a proven head coach.  Not give an assistant their first opportunity.  You have absolutely no idea what you are going to get with him.

Apparently smart came out and said he wants Muschamp for his DC. I don't have the link though.
Will Muschamp clone without the goofy facial fake mean expressions.  Defensive minded coaches have boring offenses and they suck.

FYI Gus Bradley is a defensive-minded coach. Do you think the Jaguars have a boring offense that sucks?

Will Muschamp had to emphasize the run in Florida because he did not have any good quarterbacks. Certainly the Gators would have done more with their offense if they had the right players.

Sometimes yes, the Jags offense is boring and lacks creativity.
0 head coaching experience.  Doesn't concern me at all.

I look at the Kirby Smart hire as a good solid long term hire since Smart also played at GA.

It's almost like they went out and found a person with the closest characteristics (e.g. integrity) of Mark Richt.

I can't see Mushchamp taking a lateral move.  I'd think a person with the psycho personality that he has wants to be a head coach very quickly.  Heck, for all we know, he's probably having breakfast with the Auburn AD right now talking about how bad of a coach Gus Mulzahn is.

Muschamp was willing to wait as the "Head coach in waiting" at Texas before the jump to Florida. I don't think he wants a HC job anytime soon after his run at UF.

More often than not I would say. The offense is pretty average, which is a step forward, but it still isn't that good.

With a defensive head coach it becomes pretty important on who you hire as OC.

Hater. Watch the games. It is pretty obvious we have a much-improved offense run by a good OC and compared to previous seasons, it definitely is not boring.

He's an average OC to slightly below average. Points are what matters and his offenses typically struggle to score.

You can call me whatever you'd like but facts are facts. PPG doesn't lie.

I did not say Greg Olson is a great OC. My point was after a long string of bad offensive coordinators, by comparison he is an upgrade. That is taking a big step forward even though we still have a long way to go.
