On this date in 1993, the NFL expansion committee, showing exceptional wisdom, foresight, and benevolence,  awarded Jacksonville, headed by J. Wayne Weaver, the 30th NFL franchise!!!!

 

There's been lots of ups and downs since that day, but man I'm glad to have a team to gripe about.

 

Thanks NFL, Weaver, and everyone else that made it happen.

Oh yeah!  My calendar has Sunday filled since 1995.  Go Jaguars!
