Quote:you think?

So what happened, you guys decided to take the day off because it was San Diego? Pathetic Gus, you cant get this team to beat one of the WORST teams in the league, Congratulations

Dont worry sprinkles for everyone any ways..
Who wants to listen to a head coach that loses? No matter what a losing head coach says they will suck.
I mean what do you expect for him to say? We had a great game plan but the players failed to execute, and if he did should he call out players that failed to execute? Will that make them better?

Its not his style. He is the cheerleader type coach, but you can tell that players did fail to execute such as M. Lewis not catching that ball in the endzone (he didn't even jump up), or Walters & Greene's drops for example. The oline not blocking, Clemons & Branch causing penaltys but jumping the line, etc.

Or do you expect him to take total blame (pull a Rex Ryan)? and say the players played perfectly but he failed to come up with a good gameplan against the chargers?

I mean these interviews tend to be all politics soft talk.... we got to work harder, blah blah blah anyways...

I want to see action not words...

He's not head coach material, plain and simple.
We believe in Losing!

We believe in Losing!

here is why he is a horrible coach, yeah the team didn't execute but he didn't have them ready either. Maybe if he stopped being a freaking cheerleader and started ripping the players a new one for not playing, things would be better

Coaching F

it is unacceptable to get ambushed in your own house by a chargers team that had significant O-line injuries and lost six consecutive games, Gus Bradly’s defense looked ill-prepared, showing lack of discipline by jumping off sides three times. How do you not run the ball on 3rd-and-1 with TJ Yeldon against one of the NFL's worst run defense? Instead, a cute pass to Tyson Alualu was knocked down
Well...he is a master of understatement.

There's no point in mentioning that in spite of the ranting about how awful many fans regard Gus to be, he isn't going away soon unless Khan changes his mind, and I don't think that is likely. I know many of us have various reasons why Gus isn't more well liked. I don't like his 'ra-ra' leadership style, but that's me. What really does give me pause though is his choice of coaches to help him. Babbich (sp) and Olson just don't impress me as being very good. Then again, a coach can only do what can be done with the talent available to him. We have some talent on our defense, but we also have a glaring lack of talent there too. The same is true of our offense.

So, I think Dave Caldwell has his work cut out for him. At this point, it should be pretty apparent what the most pressing position needs are. I hope we're able to improve those spots this draft and fa. I think that no matter what, Gus and company are going to get at least one more season, that's just the way it is. But there is this... next season if we continue to underachieve it will unarguably be on the coaching. If we aren't seeing acceptable progress (and I define 'acceptable' by year four as having at least a .500 record or better) then change at the top is required. I would further say that depending on how things roll, it may not even be necessary to wait until the end of the season before effecting a change at the top.

I know there's only so many things you can say as a coach, but I can't listen to Bradley continue to spew out the cliches. Him saying them annoys me more than anyone else saying them. I'd still give him another year with a (hopefully) better pass rush and re-stocked OL. I think continuity is important for a young team.

It's time for a change MR Khan. Bradley's message is getting old. We are always finding new ways to lose and when we do win (rarely) they are the ugliest. We need a more experienced head coach that would definitely get this team playing at a high level.
