The Legion of Boom would fare so much better with our front four? The problem is that we cannot generate any real pressure consistently. Our D line needs an enema.
To say that the secondary is horrible isnt excusing the pass rush. When you give AG a free release off the line of scrimmage and inside leverage in the red zone then you are either teaching it or allowing it.
It may be true that our secondary is not... shall we say... very good; however, our defensive line is for the most part impotent, which exacerbates the situation with the secondary. We were really counting on the help of Fowler this season, but since that didn't happen, here we are.
