The Pats have taken over the spot as the worst remaining undefeated team from the Panthers. With all those injuries they're in some big trouble.

Yeah, they are really bitten hard by injuries. But for me,, as long as they have Tom Brady, and remain unbeaten, they'll stay in the top spot. They'll get a good test in Denver, but for now they're still number 1.
As long as Brady, Gronk, Gostkowski stay healthy and keep playing at high levels, they're a real threat in every game.
I have no problem with others wanting to spot the Panthers up there either. They have a terrific defense,, and that team is rolling with alot of momentum/confidence. They're really tough to beat right now.

As a Panthers fan I have no problem with that argument. They're the champs and they're undefeated - until someone beats them then they're #1. I agree.
But.....if you're looking at the shape of their team vs ours and who is the hottest at the moment then I think that's the Panthers. That Broncos game will be a great test for them. Heck, the Cowboys is going to be a great test for us. I saw where we haven't beaten them in the regular season since 1997. Plus the opened as a 2 point favorite (the line has shifted quite a bit in two days, however).

Yeah, that Cowboys game looks to be a good one. Romo/Dez back healthy, in Dallas on Thanksgiving. That'll be a good game. The Cowboys are a MUCH better team with Romo playing,, much better.
