Big 10 East

Ohio St wins the East with a win today and a Michigan loss.

Ohio St, Michigan, and Michigan St all control their own destiny.  If any of them wins out, they win the division.

Penn St amazingly still has a chance.  They need to beat Michigan today and Mich St next weekend.  And they need Mich St to beat Ohio St today and Michigan to beat Ohio St next week.... essentially all four teams would be tied at 6-2 and Penn St would win the tiebreaker.

Big10 West

Iowa is basically a lock.  They just need one more win either this week or next and they win the east.  Purdue today, which should be an easy win, and at Nebraska next week which could be tough.

Wisconsin still has an outside hope.  They need to win their last two and have Iowa lose their last two.

SEC East

Florida has already clinched

SEC West

Bama is basically a lock.... clinches with a win next weekend against Auburn or just one more Ole Miss loss.

Ole Miss needs to beat LSU today and Miss St next weekend and have Alabama lose to Auburn.

ACC Clemson/FSU

Clemson has clinched their side

ACC others

Carolina is basically a lock.  Just one more win or one more loss from Pitt and Carolina takes it.

Pittsburgh needs to win their last two against Louisville and Miami and Carolina needs to lose to VaTech and NCSt

Pac10 north

Stanford clinches with a win today against Cal or an Oregon loss to USC.

Oregon needs a Stanford loss today and needs to win out against USC and Oregon St.

Pac10 south

USC and UCLA control their destinies.  They win out they go.

UCLA can only go if they win out.  USC can lose in either game and still get in through various scenarios.

Utah needs to win out and have USC lose once OR Utah can beat UCLA this weekend and lose next weekend while USC loses twice.

Big12

Okie St and OU control their destinies.

TCU and Baylor still have opportunities but next some losses.

Okie St still plays Baylor today, OU next weekend.  OU and TCU play today.  TCU plays Baylor next weekend.

American East

Temple is 5-1, USF is 5-2.  USF beat Temple.  If USF beats UCF next weekend and Temple loses either of their remaining games against Memphis or UCONN, somehow USF wins the division.  If Temple wins out or if they go 1-1 while USF loses to UCF, they win the east.

American West

Both Houston and Navy are 6-0.  They play each other next weekend.  Their games this weekend dont matter at all as far as the division title (Houston is still playing for an undefeated season and Navy is playing for the best Little 5 team and automatic BCS bowl)

Iowa started out hot up 20-0 real early vs Purdue and now they have fallen flat.  It's 20-13.

I don't know what happened.

Let's see . . . If MSU loses and OSU wins next week, the Buckeyes finish with a better record (one loss vs. two losses). That means Ohio State is not out of it yet. For the Spartans, it is win and they're in. Is that correct?

As expected Iowa clinched the West title just by winning today.

Not as bad as Florida scoring nothing in the first half.

I think I mispoke above... Michigan doesnt control their destiny.  And yes you are right Mich St takes the division if they beat Penn St next week.  If they lose, then the Mich-Ohio St winner takes it.

I know you're only really concerned with Ohio St, but I'm not sure they are a lock for the playoffs even if they miraculously make it to the Big10 title game and win it.  The committee obviously didnt think too highly of them as they were ranked #3 even though they were undefeated.  The committee clearly likes Clemson more and Alabama more.  I feel pretty confident that both of those teams will make the playoff.  I could see the Big12 title winner going in over them.  And if Notre Dame can beat Stanford (especially if Stanford wins the Pac12), then I think it may be tough for Ohio St to jump them.

The CFP committee obviously thought higher of Ohio State than any Big 12 team last week because no team in either Oklahoma or Texas is in the top five. That will change if the Cowboys and/or Sooners win as they would remain undefeated. Although I am holding out hope for Ohio State, I doubt they make it because of their loss today.

Stanford can beat Notre Shame. That will be a fun game to watch next week if there is no time conflict. Guess who I am rooting for in that one.
Conference races really tightened up after yesterday.  Not a lot of scenarios left.

ACC - Clemson vs North Carolina

Big10 East

Michigan St clinches if they beat Penn St

If Michigan St loses, then the Ohio St-Michigan winner takes it

Big10 West - Iowa has clinched

SEC East - Florida has clinched

SEC West

Alabama takes it if they beat Auburn

Ole Miss needs to beat Miss St and needs Alabama to lose

Big 12 -

OU/Okie St are both 7-1 and play next week.  Winner goes to 8-1.  If OU wins they win the conference, if Okie St wins.....

Baylor is 6-1 and plays TCU next weekend and Texas the weekend after.  If they win both theyll be 8-1.  Baylor lost to OU but beat Okie St.  So an 8-1 Baylor would win the tiebreaker over an 8-1 Okie St.

Pac12 North - Stanford clinches

Pac12 South - USC/UCLA winner clinches

American East -

Temple clinches if they beat UCONN.... USF still alive needing to beat UCF(which should be a gimme) and a Temple Loss

American West -

Houston - Navy winner clinches  (I'm rooting for Navy...  want to see them get the automatic bid as the best non major team.
