Honest answers : Who do you think has better hands, Robinson or Hurns?
Odds are this team will be in the hunt for the division title to the end of the season, and I would expect Hurns to continue to play despite the injury as long as he's able to tolerate the pain, and he's not making things any worse.  This kid is something special, and the tandem need to be on the field as much as possible.  After watching all of the video packages they had attached to the original link, he's getting a lot of notice, and it's been a long time since any Jaguar player has really gotten this kind of attention.  It's good to see, especially for a kid who his tough as nails, and has a gift for making plays.  Good things are coming for this team with the young, talented core we have in place.

I sure hope you're right. And they have to show it tonight because a loss would be devastating. They have to start beating the teams they should beat more consistently.
We need Greene to emerge as the main slot guy. If he is that guy it will make this offense scary. When Greene sustains drives and moves the chains Blake and the Allens will be able to start faster and playing ahead rather then coming from behind. Maybe then Blake can reduce the turnovers and the defense can bring the pressure.

Here's a fantastic article. Most of you that are so negative need to read it with some inspirational music in the background an some alcohol. Then MAYBE you'll actually see what I and many others like me see.
I see great play and real heart in Hurns on a team that has too much dead weight to achieve greatness. Maybe if you put out the vanilla incense, turn off the Kenny G. and sober up... you'll see that.

If only we can get Lee and Thomas back on track.

This team is making slight progress in spite of it head coach. A Tom Couphlin type would've had this team easily winning the division and dominating our division opponents. Blake and the Allens are achieving slow progress because of Olsen and their natural talent. An offensive aggressive minded HC would be licking his chops. Unfortunately we have a hootin and hollerin cheerleader.

So talent wise, you think this is a legitimate playoff team, irrespective of how weak the division is (because you say TC would have this team, as currently constructed, "easily winning the division")?

Why didn't TC win the division from 2000-2002?

If I remember correctly those 2000-2002 years were met with injuries, contract disputes, salary cap hell and not to mention after 99 it was down hill. I think a weaker coach would've folded easier. But we were so stacked that other teams were coming for us with their A game. Plus the emergence of Peyton and Marvin Harrison was just starting. Sure some excuses here but I'm not gonna fault tom for all of it. They took a hay maker shot to win a title. It didn't happen but they tried and that's a hell of a lot more than some people ever try.

As for the current team I do believe the talent is there to have won 2 more games at least. The team is undisciplined and has yet to mold a dominant identity. So far the offense is known to air it out. But that doesn't win games on its own like say run the ball stop the run for example. We do not have a plan for each game it would appear. These guys seem to play it by ear every game. They let the opponent dictate wether we will be in the game or not offensively or defensively. It's quite frustrating. The right coaching would make a world of difference.
