I don't see any reason why he should leave FSU.

LSU is a better job than FSU, but not by much. The only reason he'd leave would be personal.

I think LSU is one of the only, maybe the only, jobs Jimbo would leave FSU for, but I don't think they'll can Les realistically. I think they're idiots if they do.

Can't see it happening. They basically would have to pay Les, pay Jimbo, and buyout his FSU contract. That's a lot of money to shell out. Nevermind the fact, Jimbo has a great foundation at FSU already and loves it there.

Jimbo would be crazy to leave. With his recruiting skills here in the state of Florida coupled with the sub par ACC (previous powers Va Tech & Miami are down) , FSU pretty much has a lock on ~ 9 to 10 wins per season just by showing up.

Like people have said, it would take a lot for him to leave. He's totally reworked the culture hear, had an IPF built, now pushing for new player dorms, etc. He's done a lot to revamp the program. And like you said, he's in the recruiting hot bed of America and has won 3 ACC championships in five years.
He's stated that FSU is his dream job. LSU and Alabama are the only two jobs I believe jimbo would listen to if they came calling.

Have you seen the recruiting ground at LSU? They get players from Florida, Louisiana (which is extremely undervalued and they OWN that state), and Texas.....Recruiting wise, LSU has an argument that its in a better spot than the Florida teams fighting each other for recruits.

If Les gets the can he instantly goes to the top of the coaching list for most teams. Wouldn't it be great for him to go to Miami? FSU fans worst nightmare.

Les Miles to Miami wouldn't really scare me.

Guy from Warchant was on 1010 about an hour ago. Said between the LSU buyout of Miles and staff, Jimbo and staff they'd be looking at upwards of $22 million. This is cash before any sort of negotiations on a contract would even occur.

Lol no way they could go after Jimbo if that's the case. I know you need a really good coach to win and even if Jimbo wants it to happen, you can't spend that kind of money to get a coach.

Apparently they are bankrupt. No way they'd blow that kind of money.

That sounds crazy! Definitely going to set some time aside to read up on that.

Apparently Miles is getting paid to leave with a No. 1 recruiting class coming in....

He's consistently brought in high profile classes and hasn't done what the school, fans, boosters, etc., think he should of, win more.Though the rankings are for the most part, not very good.

Losing Jimbo in the process would.

Seeing some random stuff on Facebook that says les should be fired by the end of Monday.
