This would be a good read.

That is the same link I posted.

Why? It's a compliment to our offense.

The praise keeps coming, this time from Jeff Darlington. This one is mostly about Allen Hurns, but also mentions Allen Robinson and T.J. Yeldon.

Quote:Some around the Jaguars building say Hurns and Robinson are truly special, two players with work ethic and commitment that is up there, as one source put it, with the "top one percent in the NFL." Wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan, who has been a football coach for 42 years, said Wednesday that Hurns' work ethic and toughness compare very closely to a rookie receiver he drilled 12 years ago:Anquan Boldin. In terms of compliments from people with experience and knowledge, you won't get much better than that.
I hate to rain on people's parade, but the increased media coverage is more about the prime-time game (Thursday Night) rather than genuine interest in the team.  Expect the "attention" to fall off after the game, especially if it ends up in a loss.

Quote:You've never in your life played organized football so how would you be able to tell us reasons a WR don't come back to a football.

WRs are coached to always come back. The throws are on the QB. Period, end of discussion.

Google can't help you on this one, woman.

Depends on the depth of the route, sometimes with short routes its far more beneficial to run on into space than to track back towards the ball. Seattle is a key example of short routes turning into deeper routes when the QB scrambles.

More than that, it's the _NFL'S_ primetime game as they are not sharing with a network.

There also were a couple good articles about us before the London game. Of course we got less attention after that one, but Blake Bortles was a Clutch Player of the Week nominee.

I can't agree with you on this one because nobody is saying similar things about the Titans, who just drafted their own franchise quarterback. Why do they hype us up but not them? Because we deserve it and they don't, of course. It is worth noting people are only talking about our offense. Obviously there is a genuine interest in our playmakers. Before the Bills game, NFL writers described Buffalo as a team without an identity because it was 3-3 at the time - not high praise like we were getting.

We have a great, young core of players on offense. Caldwell hasn't hit on all of his picks (Joeckel, Ace) but overall, he's done a great job building it. This will be a scary offense next season, especially if the offensive line gets solidified.

No team hits on all of its draft picks. Fortunately Caldwell hit on a second-round WR (Allen Robinson), which is more important than hitting on one in the fourth round, and a top five QB.

He deserves it. Is there a link to watch that part online?

Are you seriously saying that it's More important Dave Caldwell to hit on Allen Robinson than his franchise QB?

Uh, Bortles is the most important piece of them all. Throw Henne out there, we rank 32nd in every category, and we are most likely winless.

Of course not. It should have been clear to you I said hitting on Allen Robinson was more important than hitting on ACE SANDERS.

What kind of fruit?
Quote:What kind of fruit?

He doesn't say what kind. He just says I'm giving you fruit to the player he is praising. I guess he's trying to be hip and cool on tv but its corny as hell.
Quote:I bet he has Blake's Spider Shart as a poster up in his bedroom.

Quoted for hilarity. It's no ice cream joke, but toilet humor is always a close "number 2".

Bucky Brooks provides lengthy details about three ways our offense is looking better:

1. Blake Bortles is showing potential as a franchise quarterback.

2. The WR corps is loaded with playmakers.

3. T.J. Yeldon might be the NFL's next great running back.

Videos on this webpage include (but are not limited to) Bryan Walters' 20-yard TD catch, Allen Robinson's 44-yard jump catch, and Yeldon's 28-yard TD run.

I found this link at the top of the homepage along with the one about Allen Hurns breaking team records. More NFL insiders are noticing us for the right reasons.

Thank you Dave Caldwell! Now let's show everybody with NFL Network we are better than our record.

I thought about the media attention and sure part of it is the Allen Brothers drawing attention but a big part of it is the Jaguars are more interesting story than the Titans and they have to talk about the Thursday matchup, especially at NFL.com or NFL Radio /TV because they want to draw ratings from non-Titan/Jag fans.
