Quote:According to schefter on Facebook.
I missed pretty hard on foles I guess.
Foles will get another chance to start at QB.
I mean it is ex-tinhorn Case Keenum.

Good thing they have Gurley to run it

I actually thought Foles was the next great thing

This is Fisher panicking to keep his job.
And also the Rams are proving that you cannot win in the NFL without a quarterback.

Gurley can sell tickets, but he isn't going to win you games. The runningback position just doesn't mean much any more. A team needs that QB.

Vikings ?

Aside from the fact that he was 0-8 as a starter, Keenum actually wasn't terrible for the Texans in 2013. He's not a long-term option, but it's not like they're benching Peyton Manning in favor of Ryan Leaf. As sad of shape as the Rams' offensive line is in, the more mobile Keenum might stand a better chance of not getting killed.
That said, this does feel like Jeff Fisher knowing that the Rams would almost certainly jettison him if they move to LA, and he's trying his damnedest to convince Stan Kroenke (or anything else who might be watching) that he knows how to make chicken salad out of chicken poo. If he knew his job was secure going into 2016, he'd probably just throw Sean Mannion out there and see if his QB of the future is any good.

Well Foles was very much overrated so I'm surprised it took this long. However that is still a messy situation at QB for them.

All those extra draft picks don't mean diddly poo if you don't have the right guy at QB. The Rams are one of the more disappointing teams in the NFL when you look at how much talent they have. Pretty much goes to show what Jeff Fisher is worth as a HC. He's been the very definition of mediocrity throughout his career and yet he still has a job.

Quote:Vikings ?Teddy is better than Keenum and Foles.
Right now the Vikes are coddling young Teddy.
"Don't make a mistake, eventually the box will be loaded and you'll hit Diggs over the top a couple times... mostly though, check it down and hand it off."
Which is fine for now... eventually they will need to open it up.
Even still... Vikes could win their division with such a strategy.
They won't win the Superbowl with a QB that doesn't take chances and is more manager than quarterback

But you're right, he's a .500 coach with a couple great years sprinkled in.
Yet many on here would be champing at the bit to get him as HC, especially to replace Bradley.
Not sure our guys would respond so well to Mullet Man.

The QB position is the most important position obviously, but saying RB's don't mean much at all is pretty silly. Having an elite RB is still valuable.

Case Keenum did get killed in Baltimore after completing less than 50 percent of his passes. I expect Jeff Fisher to let NIck Foles remain the starter after Keenum clears the concussion protocol.
Both the Eagles and Rams were losers when they swapped quarterbacks. Foles is bad in St. Louis and Sam Bradford is terrible in Philadelphia.
