The funny thing is, I just posted the Jaguars will have to run the ball more consistently over these last few weeks if they are to have any hope of going on a late run.
But given the state of attrition in the tacks secondary, going 4 or 5 wide for much of the game seems like a successful strategy to me 2 of the next 3 weeks.
It's going to be interesting to see if Mularkey and Co. are going to allow Mariota the freedom to tuck and run when the opportunity presents itself on Thursday. There aren't a whole lot of weapons for him to distribute to, and Mariota has some amazing athletic ability. Will they let him put himself in harm's way? It'll be fun to watch Telvin Smith chase him around the field this Thursday night.
