Florida Atlantic at #11 Florida - 12:00
Florida looks to get/stay healthy for next week's big matchup with the Noles.
The Citadel at South Carolina - 12:00
#13 Michigan State at #3 Ohio State
Big game for both. Michigan St not entirely out of playoff picture.
Georgia Southern at Georgia - 7:00
Georgia can't sleep on the 1A newcomer. The Eagles can play.
#6 Baylor at #8 Oklahoma State - 8:00
Baylor still has the slimmest of hopes, but they just may have lost their shot last week , Oklahoma St. controls their destiny. Either way, both have a lot to play for.
#15 TCU at #12 Oklahoma - 8:00
Oklahoma has snuck back into the picture quietly. They've been playing well since the Texas loss. Can't count them out just yet.
These are mine, what are yours? Not a huge week, but rivalry week looms and should provide lots of fireworks with lots on the line.
I am interested to see if Oklahoma State can keep this up. Seems like the Big 12 is going to beat each other, so it would not surprise me if they lost this week and then beat Oklahoma next week.
College Football Game Day will be in Columbus. Good choice by ESPN because the winner of that game virtually clinches the East division. (If OSU loses and both teams win next week, MSU goes to the BTCG. by the HTH tiebreaker.) This, not OSU/UM, is what I consider the most important game on Ohio State's regular season schedule because of that. And yes, I know all about that rivalry.

They are all important. OSU hasn't played a single tough opponent at any point this year. They finally play a couple decent teams. We'll see how they do. Conference titles don't matter to them.....they want national titles.
Ohio State's season finally starts this weekend. Welcome to the 215 CFB season, Buckeyes.
How does LSU rebound after two terrible games against a PO'd Olé Miss squad? Sell out to stop the run and hope Harris doesn't get lucky with a 80yd bomb..that's the blueprint. Also, does Bama make it through this week with no injuries? This game is pretty much already wrapped up but you don't want Henry or someone going down. And there is always the slim chance of an upset baby. I will be paying close attention to the OSU Mich State game. Also keep an eye on the red hot Razor backs.
I think OSU wins this week but it wouldn't suprise me if they don't score more than 14 on Michigan and give up 300 yards rushing in a blowout loss.
I'm looking forward more to next week than this one.
Although if treon doesn't use this game to tune up and get some rythym going I'm gonna freak out.

Teams can't even get in the playoffs without conference championships. That was why TCU and Baylor were screwed out of it last year - not having a CCG to play in. The CFP made it clear they will always favor winners of conference championship games when making their final picks. So the Buckeyes can't want a national title without also wanting a Big Ten title.

I think most people are.
If Michigan beats Penn St. and Ohio St. beats Michigan St., it will set up an Ohio St. @ Michigan game where the winner wins the division and goes to the Big Ten conference championship game vs Iowa.

I think its safe to say a large portion of the country is turning into UM fans in the coming weeks.

Cheering for Michigan to sneak into the playoffs?

More like cheering them to knock someone else out of it!

No way!!Is THAT what he meant?
:whistling:
For real though, if everything falls into place.... Michigan can sneak in. Would need:
-Michigan to win out
-Ohio St. to beat Michigan St.
-Stanford to beat Notre Dame
-Florida to lose to FSU or in the SEC Championship game.

It was very ambiguous...you might have missed it!

I'm assuming there is some GSU bias here because I'm not seeing this as a game of interest considering GSU lost to WVU 44-0 and also lost to Appalacian State 31-13. Yes, I know GSU beat Florida a few years ago but Muschamp is not coaching Georgia so I'm really not seeing this as being a close game. Look for Richt to run it up if they can get the offense ignited.
FSU will (apparently) finally rock their all black alternates this Saturday.
Hopefully they burn them after wearing them.
