Quote:Why the Texans are on Monday night is beyond me.
Well they were 9-7 last year.
After seeing them play this year, it is easy to forget that.
The tinhorns are still in this one tied at 0-0.
Come on Bengals.
We need the Bengals to win this pretty badly right?
Bengals take the lead 3-0.
Kirkpatrick is shutting down Hopkins.
3rd and goal Texans at the 4...
incomplete...
FG time.
3-3 tie.
Texans look pretty good so far.
I'll admit I rarely watch the Bengals, but good lord Dalton's passes look horrible. Not only are they inaccurate as hell past short yardage but they're wobbly as can be.
Looks like one of those games where Dalton freakishly regresses.
6-3 Bengals.
Bengals got another field goal, another lead, 6-3

He's actually been very accurate for mist of the year. He didn't look so good against Pitt. But, for the most part, he's looked very good.
This might be one of those primetime regressions. Although, for some reason Dalton usually struggles against Houston.
Bengals look like their having one of their primetime meltdowns. Kevin Huber is one of the best punters in the game. He just shanks it. Bungles penalties,, Dalton looks jittery,,Eifert drops an easy (perfect throw) on 3rd down deep in Texans territory.
They better shake it off in the 2nd half.

Well the only thing I knew for sure about Dalton was that everyone always said he's a major choke artist come playoffs time, but he's looked good quite a bit in the regular season. Still pulling for the Bengals tho obviously.

He will get yet another chance to play well in the playoffs and lead the Bengals to at least the AFCCG.

Yup. He has had issues when the Bengals get in big games and on primetime slots. He better shake it off quick this game. Letting the Texans hang around until late in the game is No Bueno.
Bengals need this one pretty bad. They play on SNF next week @Arizona. If they can get through this stretch of 3 straight primetime games, it should go a long way for Dalton's big game confidence.
But, if they choke this one,, and lose next week, it's gonna really screw with his big game confidence.

Yup. It's possible.
Although he looked dreadful against the Chargers in the playoffs, I don't really hold last season's loss at Indy against Dalton. Basically the while Bengals team was out for that one.
AJ Green
Marvin Jones
Eifert
Gresham
Andre Smith (iirc)
They were all out.
Plus, defensive starters Burfict, Mauluga were out. And Geno Atkins wasn't playing up to speed yet. That was almost impossible.
Andy Dalton has to be Andy Dalton when playing the tinhorns? For real?
The Texans are good. We are in trouble with regards to winning the AFC south.
