Enough with the Baconator's and other low football IQ's......raise your hand if you thought this would be the case in the beginning of the season......

Tom Brady 22 TD passes

Aaron Rodgers 21 TD passes

Blake Bortles 19 TD passes

Andrew Luck 15 TD passes

Peyton Manning 9 TD passes

The future is here. Blake Bortles is a legit top 5-10 NFL franchise QB. All haters will be laughed at in the future looking back at this.
He's on pace to set multiple franchise records in year two. The mistakes will diminish with more time and better line play. In the meantime, he's proving himself worthy of that pick.
A legit chance to be a top 5-10 quarterback. Some of his numbers are there. The talent is obvious more and more. But don't rely strictly on numbers. Some very random guys have had a top 5 year or two in otherwise futile careers. But anyone still truly negative on him isn't watching the game either.
If he can stay healthy, he's going to be special.
The Clowney pick OVER Bortles will cost Bill O'Brien his job. I know a coach on the Texans staff.....BOB wanted Blake. Bill was close to George OLeary. Ownership stepped in.
Not the best time to bring this topic up. Bortles had the worst day of any QB except for Peyton today (according to FP's ANY/A stat that I think is very good) and it was against the worst pass defense in the NFL. Blake is still merely average at best, with upside.

Yeah, Blake's not there yet, but he's definitely well on his way.

Bahaha average at best?! No matter what you say Ladarius Webb and Jimmy Smith are both above average.

Bortles is on his way to having the 3rd best age 23 season in NFL history for a QB after Dan Marino and Matt Stafford and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

If he's average at best, what does that make Teddy?  A career backup?

Teddy sucks...

I knew a guy that told me he is 2nd cousins with a towel boy on the Texans roster and BOB preferred Bridgewater.

He will be actually. Teddy's D gives up 17 ppg. Look at Russell Wilson being exposed now. If the Vikings had the Jags 29.4 ppg defense, Bridgewater would be on the bench right now. He will be a backup in 2 years....21 career games/20 TD

That's wonderful but you don't know NFL coaches. I know 1.

He is on his way, but there are some very big hurdles still...ones that are historically very difficult to overcome.

Jaggy will have a hard time understanding this.

Also, this is the NFL - where the worst pass defense may look like the best pass defense from one week to another.

I agree.  I liked what Teddy did in college but I was wrong.  He's just not good enough.  The Vikings are winning in spite of Teddy's below average play.  Adrian Peterson and that defense are the reason why they are 7-2.

Speaking of Peterson...what a machine that man is.

Then you should have no problem disclosing who this "coach" is

Why in the world would he do that?  What does it matter?  It's not far fetched or hard to believe a coach like BOB would have wanted Blake.

It's not hard to believe their GM/Owner combo would pick Clowney over the franchise QB.
doubters are why we can't have nice things. Nah.... This is enjoyable having an actual QB play. Offensive line needs to play way way better. When you are in the shotgun, you should be able to make it past your first read.

I wouldn't be shocked if that was the case. Bortles fits the mold of a Bill O'Brien QB and Houston had two cards filled out on draft night and turned in the one that obviously ended up being Clowney.
