If he had been practicing and staying in shape during his time away from football yeah he would be. He had that unique born to play football talent. He snatched the ball out of the air he didnt catch it. Pity the way his career went.

Justin Blackmon is gone as Gene is. I expect to see him resurface for a couple games as a bit receiver in a few years when he is strapped for cash. Best of luck to the guy, but he is gone, and out of shape to boot from what I have seen 'update' wise on him.

Yeah, I don't think so. He *may* (I am not totally convinced anymore) have more natural talent, but he isn't putting it to use. And even tho I remember the 200 yard game, Blackmon never had the consistent output that Hurns and Robinson are having so far this season (especially the TD's).

You can also attribute that to the QBs throwing him the ball like Gabbert and Henne.

Fair point, but he would disappear every other game too. I don't think that was all Henne. Part of that is on him.

Blackmon is just a mere afterthought, and thankfully, the success of our young receivers has eclipsed our dark past with regards to the WR mishaps.

I dont think he ever comes back, but I am curious what his eligibility is and what he thinks about a return.

Make sure to leave him a nice tip after he takes your order at Buffalo Wild Wings in a few years.

As much money as he got paid it would be silly if he went broke.. then again him going to Vegas.. who knows...
