Manning is definitely one of the best players to ever lace them up. I think the best game I ever saw him play was against the Dolphins, who were trying like Hell to keep him off the field with long drives. The Colts still won, despite only having the ball for something like 10 minutes the whole game. It was unreal.

Since he left the Colts, I've really come to love him. He's just a good guy. You don't see that every day.
Despite him being a lifelong clot, I have always respected Manning and appreciated his ability and knowledge for the game - and this is coming from someone who bleeds teal and black.

I truly enjoyed our Jags facing Manning's clots because we knew we would be up for a real challenge, even if we ended up on the short end of the stick. Manning brought the best out of our players, defense and offense alike, despite being on the opposing team. You could tell that clot-week for Jacksonville was big and our players ALWAYS played them tough.

Best QB I've ever seen play the game. It is a shame so few fans understand that what he did was unique to him. No other QB in NFL history did what he did on a field.

I used to really dislike Manning until I matured as a Sport's Fan. Now, I think back on what he's done and I have a great respect for the man. He really is one of the absolute greatest to play, but Time is undefeated in these things.

You watch, they're setting it up so Manning can get placed on IR and end his career gracefully instead of what actually happened.  He got pulled because he was toast and now the Broncos are making him have a second opinion on his foot.

Book it...IR....career over.

Rumors are Peyton plans to play in '16, even if its not with the Broncos

Him planning to play and a team willing to take him on are two different things.  I sure hope he has more sense than that because this year has been pretty embarrassing.

Please please go to Houston!
I remember Peyton being down by something like 4 TDs at the start of the 4th quarter against Tampa, only for him to come back and win the game. The guy was a monster, I hope he knows when his run is at its end and he hangs up his cleats, because it will be hard to watch him be a shell of his former self like that.

I think if he does play in 2016 it would make sense for him to go to the tinhorns. Lord knows what they would have done these last few years if they had signed him when they had the chance.
