But didn't take him in the 3rd or 4th lol

Why would he need to say this?
Between building the Bills and Colts, his legacy is already secure.

Because he's Bill flippin' Polian. The guy who physically accosted a NYJ employee about crowd noise. And the guy who threatened to sue Joay Mohr for reporting that Edgerrin James had a leg injury.

Pffffttt. So did I.

Yes, I think it's total ballshot, because if he had a first round grade on Brady, and Brady is still sitting there in the 4th and 5th round, he should have taken him for the sole reason of keeping some other team from getting him.

I agree that this is funny. However, the Colts DID already have Manning on the roster. So, that probably held a lot of weight as to whether Indy would draft another QB at that time, even in the 3rd or 4th rounds.
Idk. It's possible. But, who knows with that guy (Polian)?

Got to get it in before Brady retires as GOAT.

True. If this is actually the case, then NOT drafting him in the later rounds blew up in their face pretty big, lol!

He also said TO and Randy Moss don't belong in the hall of fame...in other words old bills brain is on the downturn, and has been for some time now.

That's Polian's mistake not drafting him,, if he indeed did have that high of grade on him.
Just because the Pats still drafted QBs doesn't mean Polian would've done the same.

He probably thinks that makes him look smarter. Everyone know its BS, but even if it weren't, it'd only make him look stupid for not drafting a QB with a 1st round grade but instead picked a 27-year-old center a round before him.

If they didn't have money they'd be put in a home.

they didn't need him at the time because it was only going to be Paytons 3rd season. so as a needs drafter.... no need.

Almost as bad as drafting a punter instead of Russell Wilson!

Quote:Claim the Colts had a first round grade on Tom Brady hahaha :teehee:Yeah, I am gonna go ahead and disagree with Bill there. The only QB you drafted with Payton on board was Jim Sorgi. In the 4th. That pretty much kills the entire 'I had a first round grade on Brady but passed him by 5 times' thought. I have no idea why a guy who had so much actual success, feels the need to lie and exaggerate his abilities. His actual draft picks were good, why does he make this nonsense up?

Nope
