Season kicks off this weekend for a lot of teams.

 

UNF giving Illinois all they can handle at the moment.

Can't wait to get the UNF folks up here in RVA for the UNF - VCU game on Dec 30th. The Will Wade era has started out on a "good" note, but they are about to get a for real test tonight versus a Radford team that just took down Georgetown in 2OT, then go to New York and play some combination of Duke, Georgetown, and Wisconsin.

Michigan is back after a injury plagued season last year.

UNF beat up some school called UT-Rio Grande last night and has a tilt with Edward Waters later this week.

 

But after that, they play Louisville, St Louis, LSU, Dayton, Arkansas and then VCU. I don't expect many wins there but I am interested if they can keep it close.

Purdue off to a great start after spanking Gators in championship of Tip Off Classic. Ranked #15 in coach's poll but I expect them to spend the majority of the season in the top 10. IU got beat by Wake Forest who was picked to finish 11th in the ACC. IU's overrated as always.


Maryland, Michigan State and Purdue should finish in the top 3 in the B1G IMO.

Purdue was on fire from the perimeter, they were knocking down shots left and right. Very hot Sunday night.

Ben Simmons looks like a bona fide star. The Sixers GM must be crossing his fingers the rest of the year that this tank job lands him.

Purdue could have trouble with a team that has a lot of speed but their outside shooting has improved so you can't just play zone and pack it in against their big guys and expect to win.  Their size is imposing but like I said, they're a bit plodding so speed could be their Kryptonite.

What did he go for last night?  27 points and 20 rebounds?  Wow. He's as good as advertised.

Florida looked really good last night in the front court. Great performance.

The College of Charleston put the hammer tonight on LSU, wow

Ready for the rematch with Miami, although not as confident as I would be. Miami is pretty good, and right now Florida hasn't played well in the backcourt. Frontcourt carrying them,

UNF with another win tonight to go to 6-2. LSU and Dayton coming up this week next, two tough ones on the road.

With the addition of Harbaugh, they may lose their (post Carr era) status of being a basketball school,   :thumbsup:

Big Ten-ACC Challenge should be interesting although if I had to place bets, I'd take the ACC this year.

Ospreys down 5 now. LSU with a good first 10 minutes of the second half.

UNF defense is pretty embarrassing. Just a layup line for the other teams.


Don't wanna sound too critical because the program on the rise after being in the dumpster for so long. But it sucks to see them make 19 threes to LSUs 3 and still lose. Just hate to see them waste such a dynamic offense.


Team defense in college doesn't take a lot of talent. Just effort.
