Quote:They have been playing like garbage, have no receiving threat and no defense.

The A-Team should have a field day against their secondary.
all of the reason why they will have a great game against the Jaguars #becausejaguars
I have a vision that we block their game-tying field goal and then run off the field in celebration only to watch the Ravens recover it behind the line of scrimmage and run it in for a touchdown to instead win the game.
The Allens are money

head coach.. duh

Over my head. My next guess was going to be Kicker.
Quote:Long snapper?

Close - the kicker. Justin Tucker is one of the best and has played in the Pro Bowl. Jason Myers sucks.

Not to say I like injuries (I really don't), but thank God we don't have to play against Steve Smith.
Quote:We should have beat Buffalo who was giving up tons of passing yards and playing without half of their offense. Or Indy who was playing with a 40 year old QB and a crap defense.

FYI we did beat Buffalo. Where did you think we got our second win?

Matt Hasselbeck has torched us before, but he was not the reason we lost at Indianapolis.

Quote:Hurns is out, ankle injury.

Too early to say that. It is only Tuesday.

Hopefully Gus runs on the field and is going crazy too. Would love to hear his explanation on that.

We did beat Buffalo, soooooooo.....good point I guess?
If we can find a way to win on 3rd down and not just give it up every time maybe we can.

You think that is our biggest problem? We could have won at least two more games (Buccaneers and Jets) if we did not turn the ball over. Fix that and we have a much better chance of winning in Baltimore.
On paper, we can't beat the crap out of anyone.  We've proven that by losing to the Luckless clots, the tinhorns, and the bucs, not to mention the game we almost lost to the Bills' second string.

On paper we have Gus Bradley so we shouldn't beat anybody ever.

Unfortunately, this team has proven time and time again that they can lose to anybody regardless of if the opponents are starting a one legged mule for quarterback and we're spotted 14 points! We have consistently failed to win games that were all but handed to us in a basket. That being said, as fans we probably shouldn't harbor any delusions about this coming game... or any game on our schedule... being a 'should win'; because when we should... we simply don't.

Unfortunately the game is played on grass and not paper...

Exactly.  I don't get these threads every week.  I understand the optimism (sort of), but we know what we have in Gus Bus.  We are going to look good on a few selected drives, we may stay in there by the 4th quarter, and finally we will see an epic meltdown to where we lose the game.  Rinse, wash, repeat with this team.  Up until 2 years ago, I had faith we could pull out a win every Sunday.  Now, I don't expect anything but disappointment.  I watch because I am that die hard of a fan.  We haven't looked professional in about 5 years, and it's getting really frustrating.

I understand the optimism early in the week before a game I just don't understand the apologist and the franchise can do no wrong crowd. The we're too young and shouldn't expect to win crowd when you clearly see Carr or Mariota younger than Bortles and that team of nobody's winning and looking good while doing it in his 1st year. But somehow Bortles and Gus get the young and learning pass for years in the NFL of all places in cookies n cream Jacksonville. This ain't pop warner where the participation crowd can clap for the young losers. Win or get out and let someone who knows what they're doing take over.
Yep. Seems like we are paper. They're scissors.

But, again, which team shows up? The turnover machine? Or a disciplined team that lives up to potential?
We'll end up losing by alot
Have we been favored this year? I think we beat the ravens. We weren't picked to win last week. And it wasn't a win on paper.
Quote:On paper we should beat them, in reality we'll lose by 14 lulz.

That's what Gus led teams do.
