Just saw this on Twitter. Man, the future of this offense looks so bright- imagine how good they can be with guys like Lee and Greene healthy?

For the first seven games I mean.

And he missed a game
And we gave the ball the Gerhart/Alualu when we should have given it to him......

GO JAGS!!

The funny thing is I don't think he's even playing close to his potential.

How can he with the pathetic run blocking he's been getting?

lol @ all the people who hated on the pick when he was drafted.

Some of them wanted Melvin Gordon so bad who has done jack.

Freddy in his rookie year had 1,223 on the ground and 14 touchdowns, a career high, while also catching 44 passes for 421 yards and three touchdowns.

So yeldon had a long long way to go to even be mentioned in the same sentence as the great jaguar.
Yeldon has confused me worse than any player in a long time. At first glance his yards per attempt are horrible and the 3-4 yard plays are frustrating. His lack of big plays are also frustrating.

Then you watch him play. He doesn't screw up. He usually hits what he needs to hit and how easy he is making it look. Then you are reminded why stats don't show the full picture. Yeldon is by far the most underrated player on the Jags squad and I didn't think anyone could displace hurns as the most underated.

Maybe it's just fans being far too critical. Even the national media were giving love after his first 2 games.

And the thing is this line is AWFUL at run blocking. We missed one game without Yeldon and nobody could gain yards worth a lick. Imagine him behind good run blocking.

His numbers don't support his ability because the Jags' run blocking is among the worst in the league.

<p class="">Just studied TJ Yeldon vs Buffalo...Love the way he's running. Patient, pick/slide and then explode upfield. Pulls through contact a lot.

Don't think you can ask for more from a second rounder. He's more than likely going to be a solid starter for years. Is he Taylor? No. Neither was MJD and Stewart, Means, Jones, Banks etc. Taylor was special and on a different level.
not even having that good of a season. says more about the franchise than yeldon IMO.
