Quote:No need to get catty about it. Just watch the game on your computer. I actually enjoyed having it on my laptop. I could take a dump without missing anything.
You obviously have not read any of my posts that clearly explain the problem with watching it on my computer. What don't you understand?
Also, it should be clear I was thinking about thousands of fans, not just myself, when I complained about Internet connection problems.

Millions of new viewers out weighs a couple thousand with connection issues.
Quote:Actually, he doesn't have the Ticket. And that's who I argue the most with about this topic. People who want stuff for free at the expense of people who pay.
Though to be fair you never actually paid for this game, I remember posting the Sunday Ticket schedule (from the direct tv site) in one of the yahoo threads back when the deal was announced (I think it way May) and it said the London game wasn't included (albeit in tiny writing at the bottom). So you you technically got what you paid for

Well, the price didn't go down from the year before, so no, I didn't. If they do it to me one more time I'll cancel it altogether and give my money to someone else. I'll take in a lot more Rays games, maybe.

I don't think a single post in this thread has mentioned stopping streaming video
We simply want to be able to watch the teams we support

lol of course they'll never compensate you for the lost product lol, I'm just saying they (direct tv) said months ago this would not be a part of their package.

Yeah, and I knew that as soon as this horrible deal was inked. They still do advertise as "watch every game, every Sunday" though. But the problem is not with them, but with the NFL and their exclusive cdeal with Craphoo.

Exactly - I just want to have both instead of Yahoo only. And I am sure tens of thousands of other people do too even if they
don't have problems getting online.

Sounds like the problem is with DirectTvs marketing lol.

Nope. I'm quite certain that the DirecTV marketing team did not negotiate an exclusive contract with Craphoo. But thanks for playing.

lol but reading this thread it seems your issue is that you didn't get a game that you thought you paid for, once again your issue is with direct tv for:
- Not compensating you for the "loss" of a game
- Not being more clear in their marketing
NFL is going to NFL, not sure why they wouldn't deal out the game when...DTV has always advertised it as the games with 1 and 4:15 pm kickoffs, which I assume is how their contract is written. May as well get used to it since I doubt the Yahoo/Google/Bing/Facebook streaming thing will stop, and Jags will be playing in London for years to come.

Well, I'll be getting used to nothing of the sort. As I mentioned before, if I am continually dissatisfied with the product, I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Craphoo? That's a new one. Certainly an uneducated jab from a fan made bitter.
The funny thing is that you give your money to directv. You were unaware/uneducated on the fact they said they would not have this game, and you're bashing the company that gave it to you and billions of others for free instead of the company that ripped you off.
Take it up with directv for charging you the same amount instead of complaining about yahoo, which worked for anyone with half a brain.

Insults, huh? Nice job, moron. Apparently, you can't read. I did say I realized that at the time. I thought the stream would be tolerable, but it wasn't. So, I won't be giving my money to them next year if the same thing happens. I hope none of the words I just used are too big since you wouldn't be likely to comprehend them.

Forgive my naivety, but isn't "craphoo" an insult? I guess I apologize for following your lead. Your posts are very intelligent and void of insults. You certainly flexed your IQ muscles and taught me a lesson.
I'll just go back to being moronic and enjoying crystal clear streaming on my 50" tv for free.
Have a nice day.

Do you work for Yahoo? Have stock in it, maybe? Sorry for mocking your favorite company.
Loved the yahoo stream. Worked great on all my devices even over my crappy non lte phone connection. Did have issues on an older laptop but that wasn't yahoos fault. Considering the amount of FREE viewers, yahoo did a great job.
On topic, the jags tnf game should be aired locally in gainesville
