We'll have a new official thread for our 2.0 mock draft, but I thought we should start planning now so things go well. As a mod I'll do my best to help keep this smooth and organized, but we all must do our part.

The key to pulling off a successful mock is a Commish. The Commish should be available all day long to keep things going, and he should be available to make the picks when times run out on team owners. It would then be up to each team owner to give the Commish their "short list" ahead of time. Should a team owner fail to do so, it would then be the decision of the Commish as to who the pick will be wherein the other team owners are encouraged to help him make the decision. I'm thinking the Commish should not have a team of his own to eliminate possible bias regarding trades or picks he makes.

What kind of time limit should we set? 4 hours?

Any other suggestions to make this a smooth 2-round mock?

We talked about trades being allowed in the 2.0 thread, so how are we going to handle trades? I figure teams can make announcements in the thread of their intent, and then details can be discussed by PM. Trade decisions would need to be PM'd to the Commish who will then make the official announcement.

The combine goes through Monday. We could conceivably start the "Official Jaguars Message Board Mock Draft 2.0" at any point after it concludes.

Oh, and maybe this time Garrett Bolles won't fall to the middle of round two.
