Quote:I'm not in the fire Bradley camp (yet), but a real, real whoopin' by Mularkey would do it.

Bradley has been making it difficult for me. I dont think hes getting better as a head coach. I was all about marrone getting the job but if shad wants to give gus the rest of the year, that's understandable.

With that being said, a Mullarkey beat down, and I'll never be able to look at this team the same again.
Quote:I felt sorry for Mularkey when he was here, because he didn't have much to work with.  Unfortunately, he's in a similar situation at Tennessee.

Dude, no. Just no.

I've watched Rich Kotite coach a game. I've watched Pete Carroll throw away a National Title game with the best football player on the planet on his roster. I've seen Richie Petitbon on the sidelines and I've watched Art Shell make endless notations of an indecipherable nature on a clipboard for an entire season. Mularkey belongs right up there with those guys with how completely lackluster his squad performed.
I have no doubt MM will out coach Gus

If we lose to the tacks and Bradley is not fired, yeah, I'll be pretty despondant.  But I don't expect Shad to fire Gus the Monday after a loss to the tacks.  He decided to not make a change during the bye, it means you ride out the season with your current coach---In the eyes of Shad.  Which I can respect.

In my mind, if the loss is really bad (IE dumb decisions and bad execution) I'd be willing to fire the yahoo.  But I'm not the billionaire owner, so that's irrelevant.  Shad is riding this out till the end, which I'm OK with, so long as the end is the Monday after week 17.

Chip Kelly be like I'm available

The schedule is just laying down for us.  Looking over its shoulder at us seductively in a submissive position.  What are you gonna do about it Gus?  Blake?  Anybody?

Quote:The Wiz was 3-20 as the tacks HC. Wow, that's bad.
Lol his record makes Gus look like a HOF coach (at least in baseball bating avg lol)
Wasn't this another TMD 'rec'?

Not arguing over Mularkey's coaching ability.  I'm just saying he didn't have much to work with here. I don't think Billichek (sp) could have turned this team around with the talent that was on the squad.
^FFS....no way.

Can Mularkey give Gus the kiss of death with a sweep? It'd be the only time.I'd root for the tacks. It would give us the brighter future!
Quote:Chip Kelly to Nashville?

I think it's incredibly naive to think that Chip Kelly only has eyes for Mariota.  What skill set does Mariota have that no other quarterback has?  He's familiar with Chip's system that's about the only thing he has going for him at the moment.  Is that familiarity worth leaving one franchise that's in relatively good shape to go to another one that is quite frankly in shambles at the moment?  Maybe Florio is on to something, but I don't think so.

Somewhere TMD is sweating profusely.

And PFT once again does what it does best: baseless speculation. It's not like Marcus Mariota is the only QB in existence capable of running Chip Kelly's offense.
Quote:that sets up a matchup now to see who is really worst HC in NFL.  Gus loosey goosey Bradley ,or Mike sucklarkey. who i worse?
Are they going to wrestle? Last I saw, it was two bad teams fighting it out. Not every game comes down to HC vs HC,
Quote:Wouldn't be surprised if Pagano's next in line for the firing squad

Chuck Pagano himself said he will not be the coach next season. That is not just talk - he actually declined a one-year contract extension. Rumor has it there is a relationship issue with GM Ryan Grigson.

However, the division is so bad the Colts will have a chance to win it all season, so Pagano will be safe until January.
Quote:Did anyone catch his presser?

"Keep chopping wood."

I [BAD WORD REMOVED] you not.

Halloween happens, Jaguars have the week off, and everything goes bizzaro:

Wiz fired, Mularkey in, Pagano channels the ghost of Del Rio past, and Gabbert is a starting QB in the NFL again.

It is truly getting weird in the AFC South.

This brought me to tears I laughed so hard.

I remember a fan winning a tour of the locker room with mularkey, and he showed the playbooks, it was like volumes and volumes. I was like WOW.

I don't think anyone on the Jags ever really understood his offense.

I doubt the tacks have a chance to understand what MM throws at them to change their O either, especially with half the season left.

Besides he nearly got gabbs killed down here with it, whats going to happen to mariota?

On the serious side.......the division just became ours for the taking.

But we're a house divided.

There's going to be a lot of coaches changing hats this year.
