But, they can toss the accusations out there and the low information folks will lap it up whether it's true or not.  It's kind of like the old story about LBJ in one of his early congressional campaigns.  He was running against a popular politician, and he suggested starting a whisper campaign claiming this candidate molested farm animals.  When one of his campaign advisers said it wasn't true, LBJ said he knew it.  He just wanted to see the guy have to deny it.  True or not, these kind of tactics work in politics.

They guy who did the data dump is saying he's not even apart of Anonymous. That's always been the biggest problem with that organization, everyone that does something anonymously gets lumped into a member of the anonymous group. Supposedly they're dumping their data on the 5th of November. Who know's.....

Anonymous has me all kinda of confused now there merging with socialist in Europe!? Isn't that the opposite of anarchy more state authority????

The current term to describe this technique is called "Swiftboating".

 

It's a terrible thing to have to endure, but it beats being "Willie Hortened".
