I saw BCC post a couple tweets about rumors of Gabbert starting for the 49ers and the coach being questioned about it.
ARE THEY FREAKING CRAZY? Everyone knew that Kaep was over hyped a couple years ago, but to think that Gabbert can go out there and do anything better is laughable. If anyone thinks he should be a starter in the NFL, they should never watch an NFL game again.

There have been rumblings like this for a few weeks now. Some SF fans have tried to justify it by saying that Gabbert was like the Alex Smith of Jacksonville--misused and never given a good supporting cast. I can't wait to see those 49er boards after Gabbert is owned in his first quarter of action and they realize how much they want Kap back.

I agree about Gabbert, but with kaepernick playing so bad they really don't have a choice. Someone needs to be the fall guy until the owner finally decides to clean house.

I told a guy at work, the adage that the back up is the most popular guy in the building should be the furthest thing from the truth in their fans mind. I could care less how bad my qb is when Gabb's is my back up.....he's always going to be worse.

Gabbert definitively didn't have a good supporting cast. They got that part right.

Its all the talk I see on TV(live in California) but still not sure he will actually get the start yet, I think they wait it out.
