C'MON MAN, don't shortchange Gus like that. Gus is 9-30, NOT 8-30.

BILLS WINS COUNT

FBT my madden skills > your teams coaching

don't be mad bro
It isn't beotching when you're trying to figure out what's wrong with a team which wins 25% of its games.

And therein lies possibly the biggest reason why this team is mired at the bottom of the league.

Gus Bradley looks at the problems plaguing this team and cannot come up with an effective set of solutions. Disregard the original problem which was a bare bones roster which needed new talent. I think there's clearly enough players now onboard who can win more games than a mere smatter.

Getting over the hump, this team cannot do. I point the finger at the coaching staff first and especially the guy at the top of that food chain. Some folks will argue that the same set of coaches who I say is at the root of the problem are the ones who are getting enough out of the players to demonstrate there's a better roster now than three years ago.

Well, I would say that all coaches at the NFL level know enough of the basics to let players perform at a base level. It's the coaching staffs who solve more problems than cause which lead a team to the best chances to perform and win.

With losses to the Luckless clots, Bucs, Titans and now the Jets, all in year three, it is obvious to me that Gus Bradley has looked at this team's problems and has failed.

I would argue that Jack Del Rio would have this team at .500 and a Gus Bradley led Raider team would be sniffing the first overall pick of the 2016 draft this early in the season.
Quote:No matter how the thread starts it goes directly into firing somebody, or who's to blame style finger pointing. The same thing happened with Del Rio, Coughlin, and poor ole' one season Mike. Even with Del Rio succeeding in Oakland fans here still trash him. Let the hate go! Just remember the Pats got Bill because the Browns sent him out of town on a rail and the Jets treated him like garbage. Both of those teams are filled with negative vibes and that's why they are always crap even if they're good. The Pats were also 5-11 in 2000 with a former #1 pick QB a solid pass rush and a decent secondary, started 2001 0-2 and then blew up and won the Super Bowl. We have to change our mindset a little, or maybe a lot. Firing everyone in middle of something is never the answer.

Okay, Bill Belichick started off with six wins as the Browns HC, and finished with .450% (close to 50/50) where as Gus is in his third year at .225% (20/80) not really the same...

in 2000 (his first year he went 5-11 sure but in his 2nd year he went 11-5, why because you cant find a QB tree & simply pluck one - ask Belichicks teacher Bill Parcells a thing he once said about finding QBs)...

Would Bill that great without Tom Brady -- probably not, but Bill is a Defensive minded HC people forget that because of Tom Brady's success...

without Tom he would probably run all the time....  as his teacher BIll Parcels never had that great of a QB...

but as a defensive minded HC he's teams D was always pretty good .. sure some years not the best but you can expect a tough defensive stragety against Bill... Parcells & Belichick..

many jaguar fans thought they might get that with Gus.. and after three years it hasnt shown... that is what is the most frustrating with Gus its not the 3 or 4 wins every year for 3 years.. its that the Defense stinks against the pass...

3 years and every year the Jaguars are last in INTs (and in fact the ones they do get usually are from the LBs!)

Bill would win without Tom. He went 11-5 with Matt Cassel when the AFC East was at it's strongest. My point wasn't to say that Gus is Bill, Jack, or Mike it was just that we call for the coaches head every single season and it's a bit annoying. I feel that we are building something, and I think that we are moving in the right direction. I know losses pilling up is exhausting, but I enjoyed the game v the Jets fully. We have more more to build with now than we have had in a while, and that to me is a nice silver lining. Tom Brady didn't make Bill, and if you think that you're just being silly.

This is embarrassing. Gus Bradley can't sniff Belichicks jock. Gus isn't even the best head coach on the roster

Pretty simple to understand really when you look at it in the context of...you know..how it was really posted.  But that obviously wouldn't make your response as cool.

They won against Buffalo, and people complained anyway.

Lesson is over.  I know that was difficult.
