Mack has a no trade clause so this story is nonsense.

He can always waive it.

I highly doubt he would unless it was to a team in contention that was willing to play ball with the Browns for an o-lineman having a down year.

Go get Joe Thomas and Alex Mack...

Considering the contract he's playing for was negotiated by the Jaguars and he wanted to come here before last season, I think the Jags have a good chance that they would be one team he might be interested in playing for.

If Caldwell wants to make a play for a center who is having a terrible year off of a major injury, I guess it is up to him.

Cleveland is 2-5 and appears to be giving up on the season if they get their wish and trade all these players. He has an opt out clause after this season too, so it's not like he'd be stuck with whatever team trades for him for the remainder of his career. Also we were the team that put the no trade clause into the contract, so it's not like he demanded it be in from Cleveland or anything like that.

Joe Thomas? Why?
He makes sense for a team like the Pats but for the Jaguars? Not so much.

Its funny that his terrible year is still as good as or better than Wiz this year whom many seem to love. Mack at his worst is still as good as Wiz.

This. This board loves mediocrity

Because our line ouside of Linder is abysmal. Parnell is average I guess.
Thomas is still one of the best tackles in the league. I don't see how it hurts the team to have him for 3 or 4 seasons. How many year rebuild is this supposed to be?
