Suspended for the first play. Urban will really send a message here.

This is confusing. How can they call it an OVI misdemeanor if he was underage and over the limit?

So this kid goes out drinking and driving, putting all other drivers on the road in danger of their lives, and gets suspended for a game or two at the most. Then You have Will Grier who takes an over the counter supplement and gets suspended for a year and loses a year of eligibility on top of that. Somethings wrong with this picture...

This happens all the time. The NCAA's punishment is too severe IMO - and would be regardless of what any other college player got suspended for. You can't blame the coaches for that one.

Oh my...a whole game.

So he would have kicked Jameis Winston off the team for stealing, but hands down a whopping one game suspension for someone who was operating a vehicle drunk and putting other people's lives at risk. Gotta love Urban.

I guess he goes by the number of crab legs vs. the amount of alcohol. Numerically, the crab theft was worse. But I don't know his logic.

Numerically the crab theft was worse? What in the world makes that logical?
OVI > taking a few crab legs.

How many crab legs did Winston steal? Far more than the amount of alcohol Barrett drank. That is what I am talking about. Of course, I never said it makes sense to go by those numbers.

Better question is how much does JW drink before she writes her nonsense on this MB?

I hate Ohio State as much as the next guy, but it sounds like Barrett was barely over the legal limit. Just sounds overblown to me.

Over the limit is over the limit. Don't drive drunk.

I'm a man of many vices and am far from a saint but I just don't get why people bother drink driving at all? Just get a taxi or someone to pick you up and save all the hassle plus you won't endanger any-ones life.

So are you "less dead" when someone barely over the limit runs into you?.......Just curious
