Quote:Yes, most of us already knew Jedd Fisch was no better then a dead fish and they both have something in common. They stink over time.

I  wouldn't say most of us knew that...  A few of us knew.  I remember alot of folks defending Fish...  A lot of those folks are now defending Bradley...

Well then those who didn't know just weren't paying attention.

There is a reason why Fisch's offense was ranked 31st or 32nd, or at the bottom, in the league while he was here.

There's also a reason why Gus' record as a HC is 9-30 and one of the worst records for a HC in his first 39 games.

Pay attention people, look around and see what the other teams who were at the bottom with the Jags are doing with their teams with young rookie and 2nd year QBs and WRs.

Ask yourself why Gus is losing some of these games that he should actually win nearly 40 games (2 1/2 seasons) into his head coaching career.

I'll be the first to admit he probably over achieved in his first year by ending the season with a 4-12 record considering the team went through a complete overhaul, but remember he went 3-13 in his 2nd year with a better team then he had in year one.

I know it's only 7 games in, but he's 2-5 this year and has lost at least 2 games he should have won, with some believing  he should have won at least 3 of those games.

Until Gus stops getting out coached and outschemed on gameday, not much is going to change.

Wrong thread?
Not mentioned in the article:  Dirk Koetter.

As OC in Tampa, he's overacheiving.  And though I think Olsen's doing a pretty good job, I'd take Koetter back in a second.

Koetter was never really appreciated around here. Of course, his offense changed pretty dramatically from what it was at ASU. He ran a wide open offense down there, but reined it in significantly once he arrived in Jacksonville.
