The Jags are not 6 feet deep yet this season, so there is still hope.
Will Lee be back though?!

Sure.. just gotta win out in the division... that shouldn't be too hard..

I thought Greene was put on IR and that was why we signed Walters.

Greene was good in the limited time I saw him play, but Walters is better.

More than likely. But then again we haven't seen Bortles in a playoff game. He might throw for 7 touchdowns. You never know....
Still sick about JMeyers missing those two.  We should be in 1st!

Hopefully, they didnt put him on IR so they think he will, he will most likely practice next week and we will know from there

After the bye Bortles should have all his weapons healthy, Lee, Greene, D-Rob and Thomas

It should not have come down to that. I am sick of seeing our offense shut down after halftime.

That would be sick! lol. I dont know, i tend to stick to more realistic expectations, and maybe a little less than what is expected.. So when they do well, it will be a pleasant surprise! We could be like Seattle and Carolina too. We could come out and shock a team. I think its great we can even talk about playoffs 8 weeks into the season ffs! lol
If the Jags can beat the Jets on the road then I'll start to believe they can really win the division.  And if they do win the division they would most likely host the Jets or Steelers in the playoffs.  Outside change of the Raiders.  Not a problem.

The divisional round is where it gets tough - at Denver, at Cincy or at New England.

LOL at myself contemplating the 2nd round of the playoffs.  Go Jags.

Did I hear playoffs? Playoffs though, like really? Aren't we like the 32nd best club in the league?....
The NFL trade deadline is in 3 days, November 3rd. Seeing as how Marquis Lee still is not even practicing, and knowing Greene will return in 3 weeks for the Titans game, I'm thinking we should look to trade our early 2nd round pick from last year.

Does anyone know who the Jaguars newest roster addition, Hayes Pollard, is?

Double the post, double the shot, too tired to undo. 75 hr work week. Dang you HDN...

Where one game behind first place... Why not? Now winning a playoff game is an entirely different story.

As for the ranking, well, the win over the Bills has put the Jaguars anywhere from #24 to #30 in most rankings. I have them at #28.

A 48 yard field goal attempt, wide right by a couple feet, stands between us and 1st place.............what a country!
In jest baby, in jest

I agree, there are a handful of teams the Jags are better than

Look at their 2 win quality. Dolphins and Bills are both respectable squads. We Jaguared vs twinks, tinhorns n yucs, otherwise you'd be talking 5-2 and toast of town. The team is not that far off...
Nothing's going to fix this defense for 2015.  We won't be a playoff contender until that side of the ball is fixed in the offseason.

They were much better last year then so far this year.

That's Gus' side of the ball so hopefully he can make some changes to where they are better after the bye week and for the rest of the season.
Guys.... One game at a time. You don't have to talk about playoffs after every win and firing the coach after every loss.
I think Greene can get in the line up too. Lee probably won't play a whole game either. Walters should start for sure. Greene should be KR, Walters can't really make a move while running full speed straight ahead but he has gotten some yards.
