Call up Kansas City and trade for Tamba Hali. No sure what it would cost but hes good at rushing the passer. I would inquire.

Read that the Chiefs would possibly part for a fifth or a sixth.

 

I'd pull the trigger on that immediately. It's worth it even if he's able to give us a year and a half of high level production.

 

EDIT: He's an older guy obviously, but the Jags have to do something about the pass rush if they believe they can win the division this year.

Yea, i read this too. Why not use the Sixth rounder we got from Scobee. We can use someone fast coming off the edge.

I like it. We need more rush.

If it really is a sixth, an insurance policy for fowler to get back to 100% wouldn't be bad at all

No trades.. the Jaguars arent Playoff ready this season.. so I wouldnt suggest trading away a young improving high potential player ...

let the GM Dave Caldwell draft some more key positions and hopefully Gus gets much better or GM Caldewell fires Gus and gets a much better HC this time.

I'd be cautious about that. You're looking at a more awful version of the Eugene Monroe scenario that Baltimore got itself in. If you do trade for him, you still have to sign him for 2016 and beyond. So you would send a pick to a team, and then sign the guy to a contract. I like Hali and all, but I don't like paying for guys twice.

Meh. I'd rather not trade a draft pick for a 31 year old.

Having the extra 6th makes it a little more tempting, but idk. Basically what Deacon said

Why do we 'need' him now?  Will we make the playoffs if we get him?  I'm pretty sure the answer is no.  Therefore you're going to waste a draft pick (no matter how low) on a player who is probably not going to have much of an impact at all on where you finish.  Then you'll have to also try to sign him as a free agent when is contract is up.  Does not make sense.

Um, the division is very much up for grabs so yea, there’s a chance we can make playoffs and getting a pass rush would help that. You guys are in love with late round draft picks that more than likely wouldn't make the team. Its a 6th rounder dude.

You know, GMs have this thing they do where they actually combine picks to move up in draft position....dude.

Tamba's 1 sack this year and his 6 sacks from last year could really help!
