It's the NFL not college or HS. Every play is an important play. The Jags put themselves in a position to win that game and it was up to the kicker to get it done. Regardless of what happened during the game. They had the win there TWICE and the kicker couldn't get it done. So yes I blame the kicker.
One missed field goal OK I hear you......but TWO. No sir. Not in a clutch moment like that. Scobee would have made at least one of them.

Agreed but, I think with kickers there is a comfort zone that plays in to their ability and Scobee was def comfortable kicking for the Jags, especially at indy.
I would like to say that Scobee would have made atleast one of those kicks, but we will never know.

It's a shame Indy doesn't need a kicker then. He wasn't looking so comfortable here last year.
