Quote:I never said the Broncos have not played anybody. Where did you get that from?
Also, Green Bay has a good offense that does not need help from the defense to win games.
I simply ment neither team has played a strong team yet and the Packers haven't faced such a highly ranked defense
Quote:I would love to watch the panthers eat horse meat. From what I have seen so far, they have a good chance of chomping in. Now remember jaguars and panthers are closely related in the wild So we should root for the Panthers anyway.
Why would you want to watch panthers eat horsemeat? That would be gross!

Of course I meant I want the Panthers to beat the Colts, which is not disgusting at all.
This is one of the few weeks I actually want to see Cam Newton have a good game. Are you glad Carolina does not have Andrew Luck instead?
Quote: I will definitely sleep in late and wait for the Bengals/Steelers game at 1:00.
That's the game I'll be watching. It should be a good one. I believe the Steelers will win it,, but it should be close.
Reasoning:
- Bengals have not been very good at all after Bye-Weeks during Marvin Lewis' tenure.
- Bengals always struggle with the Steelers (even in games Cincy has won). PITT swept the Bengals last year.
- It's difficult to get a victory in Heinz Field (unless you're facing Vick and Scobee lol)
- Big Ben's return after injury
- It's almost a "must win" for the Steelers to stay in the AFCN race. If Pitt loses, they'll essentially be 4 games back with only 8 left to play.
If Pitt loses:
Bengals 7-0
Steelers 4-4
If Pitt wins:
Bengals 6-1
Steelers 5-3
The Steelers really must have this one to stay close. On the other hand, the Bengals can basically clamp the lid on the AFCN race with a win.
Historically, the Bengals fold when they have a great chance like this. We'll see.
Should be a good one.
I am rooting for the Steelers (hate Cincinnati) and picking the Bengals. It should be fun to watch either way.
BTW MissJagsFanatic,,, good thread and topic. I like the college football one that TravC59 does.
I'd really like this one too. Thanks and good job.

Hehe. That's where we are going to have to disagree. I can't stand Pitt and like Cincy. Go Bengals.

I liked this post.

LOL Before I knew anything about the NFL having 6 divisions, I rooted for both teams.
Quote:Moving on to the next game . . . Will anybody get up early for another London game or record it to watch later? I will definitely sleep in late and wait for the Bengals/Steelers game at 1:00. Watching a 9:30 game is bad for fans like me no matter is is playing in London.
The games I can watch are:
Miami at New England (Go Dolphins!)
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!)
Seattle at Dallas (GO SEAHAWKS!)
Green Bay at Denver (Winner does not matter)
Since you are a fan of both the Packers and the Broncos, which team do you REALLY want to win the game? I mean if you really had to pick one team to win.
Also, why is a 9:30 game bad for fans like you?

If I had to pick a team to root for, Green Bay. But at this point in the season it totally does not matter.
By the time I wake up, it is already halftime.
Who do you think will win, the Packers or Broncos? It is the game of the week because both teams are undefeated and coming off a bye. Then of course there is the Aaron Rodgers vs. Peyton Manning factor. Green Bay's offense should be fine against Denver's defense, but that will be an exciting matchup to watch.
