Quote:Irsay and Grigson having heated argument in locker room after loss. Finally realizing they should've kept Peyton and taken the ransom. Colts are staring at an organizational rebuild right in the face
Good. I hope Grigson stays a bit longer and puts them into a deeper hole into the prime of Luck's career.
It is about time the loyalty of their fanbase is tested.
My guess is they would be a candidate to relocate to San Diego or St. Louis eventually.
There is nothing that makes me happier than to see the clots a mess.

kick rocks clots!
All we need to do if fire a HC and bring someone in that's more capable.
They need an entire rebuild!
Luck is OK. He's a good QB. But he's no "greatest prospect since John Elway". That was the problem the whole time. An OK QB hyped by the "NFL Experts" that baconator and other morons rely on to prove points and get their hot takes.

Luck was the greatest QB prospect in a long time, then Mariota entered the NFL draft and supplanted him.

. If my thoughts were emoticons as I read this sentence. Didn't you say that Mariota was the least ready QB when compared to Luck and Bortles. Granted, I'll never understand how you believe Bortles was more ready though he was expected to sit his first year because he wasn't ready. Then again, after reading the above it really shouldn't be all that surprising.

Funny guy! MM was obviously the better choice compared to ole crazy crab leg's Winston. That's for sure.

I never thought bortles was more ready, just that he had more experience in a pro style offense. The difference is the skill set. While mariota never had the traditional experience in a pro style offense, he has shown the ability to stay in the pocket with poise and go through his progressions and make good decisions. On the basis of skill set and ability, there is no doubt mariota was more capable entering the league than bortles, but bortles was more ready for a natural transition based on experience. He has more nfl ready talent and ability than bortles ever did, but not more pro style experience than him.

You have been amusing so I'll give you that.

Can't stop, Won't stop.
Mariota is awful. One good week and a bunch of eggs after that.
If you look at his per attempt numbers Luck has never been that amazing. He was a great prospect, and he's mostly been 'ok' to 'above average' but not truly 'elite. YPA is fairly low, completion % is so-so, he puts up big looking numbers off of volume. Personally I'd compare him to Rivers. He's as good as what you put around him, but he's not going to drag the team upwards. He will however beat the teams he's supposed to most of the time, occasionally win a big game, but lose head scratchers in about the same ratio. Also see his tendency for throwing INTs in playoffs. Not sure what it is but it's more than an anomaly at this point.
Yeah Rivers/Palmer is probably Luck's sort of career trajectory at this point rather than Manning/Brady.

Which isn't bad at all though. They are very good QBs. Obviously I want Bortles to be Rodgers level, but if he's a Rivers, that's still very very good.

No way. Rivers is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than Luck.
AL will be honored to be included in the company of Phil the Thrill.
Quote:He has zero lineman
This. The kid's really good. But, when you're running for your life, it's hard to be elite. Tom Brady ends many games with a jersey that looks like it doesn't need to be washed.

So then why is Blake blowing his numbers away this year? Oh wait, bc Luck is injured. Got it.
I get that he's a clot but the Luck hate is substantial with nothing of merit to back it up.
When you give up a first for T Rich and sign a couple of dinosaurs, then follow it up by drafting yet another WR...well, you may want to consider aa lineman at some point.

How come the no lineman excuse is only valid for guys who are labeled "elite" by the media?
BB5 has a terrible line and is running for his life too.
It doesn't support the media's current agenda though.
Besides, what QB isn't good when they have all day to throw?

It makes no sense to me
