I kinda doubt that.  I think they are banking on us winning at least 5 more games this season, so in that case he would likely be safe.  If we don't win any more games this year, it's going to change their outlook.

Unless his source is Khan, I dont think it's a reliable source. Caldwell, Gus, and everyone is at the mercy of Khan. If Khan truly thinks Gus and company can suck through next season, then he is not the owner this franchise needs.

Continuity is important.  If we keep changes coaches and coordinators, Bortles will become a Gabbert.

Wow...this really makes me question Khan big time!

Khan is a businessman.  He's paying Gus and Dave for 4 years, so if he gets rid of them that means he's paying them to do nothing for a year.  

 

There is no financial incentive for him to get rid of either one.  Fans are buying tickets no matter how bad the product is on the field.  Until there is a financial incentive to change course, why should he?

Yep.  We should lock Gus up with an extension this offseason to keep him from hitting free agency.  Gus would be one of the hottest head coaches available next year based on his success with the Jags.

That's not necessarily true.  If a coach upgrade gets us 4-5 more wins it's more than worth it and accelerates our path to the playoffs, it pays off in the long run.
