Quote:Disappointing loss especially with half my wife's family being Tech fans. Should I start UF loss threads? Petty.
This. Last I checked the records for both teams were the same. Tough loss for FSU to lose on final play. FSU is a very young team and will bounce back. Still have very big games against ranked opponents Clemson and Fla to salvage season. No dominant teams in college football this season.
Quote:It really shows how bitter some of their fans are. They act like it's a big deal when we lose. I guess when you've gone 45-4 since 2012 they haven't had much of a chance to needle us. Either way, we're all Jaguars fans, we know how to handle losing.
Are you really going to play this card? There were FSU fans on Facebook that after their playoff loss and this loss have to always put something out there about how bitter UF fans are and always have to rub it in, they want to be us, they are jealous, etc etc....you don't think FSU fans did the exact same thing when UF was in their hay day? Suck it up and move on.
UF fans were the exact same way back then. Always whining about FSU fans trying to make fun of them when they loss. Everyone needs to get thicker skin and know that people are going to make fun of you when you suck. My team is 0 and freaking 8 and I root for the Jags. At least I got one win this week.
Peanut gallery talking trash on #11 Florida. Oh how the tables have turned.
Quote:Didn't Florida Just get beat on a fake field goal that anyone watching knew was about to happen... well.. not ignorant Gator fans.
Nope. That was icing on the cake for LSU, who beat the Gators all four quarters.

Weren't you watching the PSU/OU game that night? So not sure where you got that LSU beat UF in all four quarters.

Take it easy on her. It isn't easy being a fan of 18 teams.

You mean OSU? It was Penn State/Ohio State.
I did not mean LSU was dominating Florida. The Tigers did not look bad in the first quarter, which I was able to watch, and got better as the game went on.
Quote:Football in the state of Florida is really in the dump right now.
Speak for yourself buddy
UF and FSU are consistently playing decent football

Yes...that other game that you were watching while you weren't watching the LSU/UF game.
Quote:Florida was in good shape before the LSU game. Will Grier was the guy who kept their offense running, so now they aren't.
FSU lost the game on one play. Do you really think the Gators are better right now?
i dont think we are better but i also dont think we are much worse. Who else will beat us in the regular season?

There's more parity then ever. Only Texas and Michigan have 2+ schools ranked higher in the aggregate than Florida with UF (#11) and FSU (#18). Toledo sucks so I'm not counting Ohio in the mix.
California is down, GA, AL, SC have all experienced a major drop off as well.

Last time I checked, Toledo is ranked and undefeated. But it is true that they don't rank higher than those schools in Texas and Michigan you are referring to.
Quote:Seminoles
haha, just stick with your Ohio St football. Seminoles wont beat Florida nor Clemson

I'd have a hard time arguing for clemson, but gators have a back up QB and showed they are susceptible to the run. Offensively the gators are still very average.

tough to say that. the gators still put up plenty against LSU. so we will see.
The backup QB that nearly beat that playoff FSU team last year.

Yeah, 13/32 for 169 yards, 1 TD and 2 picks. He sure showed up that game...neither offense or QB was impressive that game.

Treon won't be at UF next year.
