I know at 35 he is past his prime but he might help the pass rush if he could be had for a 1 year deal. What could it hurt?

He was past his prime when we signed him last time, given he didnt do too bad then I guess....

With 6 games played, we don't have anyone with more than 2.5 sacks? Who are these younger better rushers? We have cap room to spend, who is available in free agency that could help us win NOW?

Yeah, because trash like Branch and Clemons are taking all the snaps. Davis has more sacks, with a third of the snaps they take.

Might as well grab Michael Strahan while we're at it. Lol. Even if we got him Bradley would make him the back up kicker thats where he is most valuable

With all respect to Jason Babin... no. We don't need any more over the hill gang players here; we suck bad enough as it is without any further help. He would be an overpaid, underachieving player on defense. We have enough of them already, thank you.

Well, if you find names you recognize, you should start several threads suggesting the team sign over the hill has beens, or never weres.

Ok so we should do nothing but add more topics to fire the head coach right? Because we need to get a new coach every 2 years to turn things around. We are the bottomdwellers of the nfl right now because we don't have an identity and have too much turnover in the coaching staff. I don't thing hitting the reset button really does anything but put us in a position to get the first pick of the draft every year.


And with the first pick we can get more guys who get injured for the year at the first practice or who like to smoke dope more than play football. Or better yet, let's get a never will be who stays on injured reserve because he breaks a nail while putting his so cal makeup on in the morning.


I guess lets just do nothing so at least we can complain. All the geniuses on this board know that there is nothing available worth trying in free agency, and since we stink ,we should just look forward to the next bust we get to draft with the first pick, that is always better than free agency.

What you're suggesting is no different, and would likely do nothing to help this team. But, feel free to keep scouring the lands for more has beens you've heard of.
