...And the Jaguars are just coming off a 14-2 season in 1999 which ended with a heartbreaking loss to the Tennessee Titans in the AFCCG. The Jaguars are the preseason picks to win the super bowl that year. Then imagine that a John Titor of sorts, happens to make a post on the early Jaguars message board and tells fans about the state of the franchise by the year 2015. He says that the team will struggle for the next three seasons under Tom Coughlin and that he'll be fired and replaced by Jack Del Rio. The team won't be terrible, but they'll struggle through some seasons of mediocrity, but will also have some shining moments like the Pittsburgh playoff win in 2007. Wayne Weaver eventually runs out of patience with JDR and he's fired before the end of the 2011 season.

Meanwhile, Wayne steps down as owner and a Pakistani-American billionaire named Shahid Khan takes over as the new owner of the team. We have a horrible season in 2012 which results in the replacement to JDR being immediately fired and is replaced by a happy-go-lucky head coach named Gus Bradley, and we're playing one home game a year in London. Up until 2015 the new HC has one of the worst coaching records in NFL history by recording a 8-30+ record as head coach. There is some hope that new young talent like QB Blake Bortles, T.J. Yeldon, Allen Hurns, Denard Robinson, Allen Robinson, and Marquis Lee might be able to turn the fortunes of the team around, but it remains to be seen; and Khan is being patient with Gus and management.

On a side note, he mentions 9/11, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Space Shuttle Columbia, Subprime Mortgage Crisis, Great Recession, the rise of ISIS, the first Black President, Donald Trump is running for President, and that there are no hoverboards available in 2015. But the main point of his message is that by the year 2015 this team is in really poor shape, and within the span of 15 years went from being superbowl contenders, to being a garbage dump team.

Hearing this for the first time in the year 2000, and knowing everything that has happened in the world in the last 15 years, would you think that this guy is crazy?

I know what Bradlet would say "its a 16 year process, its not always about wins and losses."
Holy crap. There's really been some outlandish things that have happened the past 15 years
You forgot to add that Kojima blows our minds with MGS V

In the year two thouzunnnn... In the year two thouzunnnn!!!!
But to answer your question probably. Also, good out of the box post.
You know...this was a pretty solid post. Its crazy to think what has happened since then.

Yes!
Cocaine much?
There is two ways to look at this... you can't be bad forever so eventually (soon I think) this team will get good again. If you did this for some other teams I bet it'd be pretty similar minus teams like Green Bay and Indy who have found consecutive talented quarterbacks in succession.
