When considering what position the Jaguars need most to help transform their defense, I keep going back to their LDT or NT position that Roy Miller mans. Now I realize some fans think he's doing a great job up front, but what the team needs is someone up there who consistently dominates, and I've seen enough porous plays out of Miller to know that's not the case. The Jaguars defense scheme is in large part a 3-4 disguised as a 4-3, and it's common knowledge that one of the most important positions in a 3-4 is the NT spot. Get a truly immovable force who causes legitimate havoc up front, and the Jaguars defense is transformed. From what I've seen and read about A'Shawn, he defines what the Jaguars need at the position.
I'm looking at a potential DL next year that from left to right starts Odrick, Robinson, Marks and Fowler. Now that's suddenly a truly dominant DL that would get the Jaguars defense back on track. It's tough to say exactly where the Jaguars would need to draft to get him, but I'm thinking Robinson will be a top ten pick.
What say you?
