Man I was pretty lukewarm on In N Out in the other thread but maybe the East Coast could use a couple!

That's just what someone who wants you to eat at Burger King would say!

As green as a bad shag carpet, or one of those astro-turf "putting greens" from the '80s.

Probably the astro-turd from the 80's.

I'm doing ok, I've mentioned it in the Ode thread a few times but it's been a challenging year. This is year 9 of a 10 year expansion plan and just as things were looking green lighted I got some really bad news, that might jeopardize that plan. Not too mention it created a lot of extra responsibility on my end.

It was also one of my more difficult growing seasons, things are all wrapped up now but I estimated about 6 tons of crop lost to circumstances. That's farming though.

But I'm relatively healthy and my son is adjusting to high school pretty well, and I have a couple of awesome vacations coming up so all in all it could be worse.

How about yourself? Seems like you've been busy!

I know the weather in California has been a cruel mistress the last few years.  Hopefully rain will be in your future - and not all at once.  But as you say, health and family are most important.

It has been a challenging year. I've been here in Australia for the last few weeks. Learning to drive on the other side of the road was a little awkward for about a week, but I'm getting it down.  It's not second nature but I don't have to think about it constantly now while driving.  I did turn the wrong way down the road once not long after I arrived.  The look that gets from other drivers... Good thing I don't speak Australian.

I hope your expansion plan continues on track after this latest detour.  Channel your inner Donald Trump.  Wait, firing everyone and then declaring bankruptcy probably isn't a good idea. Never mind, don't listen to me.
