By using that same fallacious logic, do you have a link that any decent coach would have a winning record with this talent?

Quote:Our offensive line is trash. Our secondary is trash. Our pass rush is trash. And our coaching staff is trash. I don't need a link. The evidence is on the field every week.

There's talent on this roster...but carry on!

I mean does talent exist on this roster? Sure. That doesn't mean we aren't arguably the least talented team in football. In basketball, the 76ers have talent too. In baseball, the Phillies have "talent". Having talent in certain parts of your team means precious little if that talent is minimal and/or doesn't play to the best of their ability.

We have adequate (or better) talent at C, RG, RT, QB, RB, TE, WR, LB, and CB.  I probably missed something (oh and punter lol).

Like I said, I have no doubt that a real HC has this team 4-1 or 3-2.

Nearly half of those positions are individual offensive lineman, and even them as a whole have been terrible. RB talent is arguable this season, but it will certainly get better. Same goes for QB. Bortles might be great someday, but his 83 QB rating so far this year puts him in the mid-tier range. Wide receivers aren't elite, but are certainly are strong points. Corners suck. Tight end is solid when healthy, but that's a huge asterisk.

QB rating has been exposed over the years and rewards game managers like Russell Wilson/Mark Brunell/Teddy Bridgewater over gunslingers like Brett Farve, Dan Marino, and Peyton Manning. Honestly, putting points on the board is what it's all about and we have a QB now that may be able to throw 30-40 TDs a season.

You put the pieces around him defensively and coaching and Jags are a Super Bowl contender. Not many QBs can throw 30-40 TDs per season.
