Lewis has got to be the most unathletic TE in the NFL right now. Kyle Brady had more athleticism than him. He caught 10 TD passes one year off play action fakes because everyone was so keyed on MJD. He does nothing for us.

Branch actually isn't terrible in run defense, but he provides little pass rush unless it's a schemed stunt. That said they should let Davis and Smith get more reps at the LEO.

I disagree. He's been our best pass rusher, though that's not saying much, and he's also been good in the run game. All the starting LBs are having solid years, but I'd give the edge to Skuta.

I'll never understand the bitteress that a lot of this board displays because Marcedes does mma in the offseason. The undertones are that somehow mma has turned him into a bad player. I just don't get it. There are a lot of successful NFL players that practice mma and even more who have some sort of wrestling background.


Marcedes is a bad player because he is a bad player - not because he works out with Jay Glazer in the offseason.

Agree.  He sucks and should be cut.  

Marcedes seems like he's over the Jags. Can't say I blame him, but he doesn't seem to really care or try that much anymore.

Marcedes, Branch and Clemons...sounds like the beginning of a bad joke.

  I watched branch fail to get anywhere all game. I actually saw him try to get to hoyer twice in the same play and the RT just pushed him away like he was nothing. W 

Branch is worthless. I watched him honest to god get punched at least 7 yards off the LOS on a passing down. Never seen anything like it in a football game. He is embarrassing to watch.

I've never seen a player as bad at creating leverage as Branch.


He bellies up to the tackle with his arms straight up in the air. Sometimes he spins in place.


Clemons is clearly just going through the motions here.


Bradley's continued reliance on them is far and away the biggest indictment against him IMO.

Chris Clemons only comes on the field in certain packages due to his age, but he has a FG blocked, 1 sack, 1 pass deflection, 1 FF and he is sometimes double teamed.

 

He wasn't meant to be on the team this year they pretty much came out and said, had Fowler not been injured he probably wouldve been cut.  That being said he's not the main problem on this team.

Its the DBs, Safety especially!

 

Other than House whom has 7 PDs everyone else only has 1 with the exception of MLB Poz whom has 3, but the corners & safeties are all around 1 after week 6 is over... Poz is the only one with an INT on the team...

that is the main problem with the Defense they cant stop the pass...

 

We all know TE M. Lewis has been a failure for a long time on this team...

Jokelel is awful and made to look like a [BLEEP] every other game

 

Clemons is an old out of shape vet that has no leadership skills. But he did force a fumble today. To him that's like winning a round of bingo.

 

Gerhart is a waste of money. Having a fullback lead blocking would work out better for us. He's literally taking up a roster spot.

 

Gratz is mediocre

 

Cyp seems to be the only person in the secondary that can make a tackle

 

Beadles is worthless but the jags decided that he was worth a big chunk of cap space

 

Odrick is good.

 

Brown is awful.

 

Skuta should be playing every down for the love of god.

 

House makes me vomit when I think about how much the jags paid for him.

 

Lewis should have been cut years ago but that padded contract kept him around.

 

Even PUZ getting hurt every single year makes him worthless.

 

 

I've been a jags fan for twenty years and I've seen some real messed up things in my day. But watching gene smith [BAD WORD REMOVED] away the jags future to me was worse than the holocaust.

 

Caldwell is screwed and may god have mercy on his soul.

Our pass rush from the DL sucks and so do our safeties. And by sucks I mean probably the worst units in the league. Our linebackers are about average I'd say.
