1B. Thomas
3. Adams
No reason to do 4 though since Garrett is gone and we pick 4th.
I would put Lattimore in the mix with Adams as well but I think we go CB in FA so I don't include him as well.

I think Allen is very good but his ceiling isn't as high. His floor however is much better than Thomas.

Like I said in another thread I think at the moment Allen is the best player but whenever I watch Thomas I get the feeling he can become a better player than Allen and has a really high (and higher than Allen like you said)ceiling.
Both are great options anyway and I wouldn't complain one bit with one or the other.

Right now it would be:
1) Fournette
2) Allen
3) Adams
4) Lattimore
However, depending on Fournette's 40 time (which usually I don't consider too much; but he's a big RB, so it's important I think), if it's slow I'd go:
1) Allen
2) Adams
3) Lattimore
4) Thomas

Can't wait to see the number he posts at the short shuttle and 3 cone drill.

If he really blows people away there is an outside chance that he could be gone before 4.

Adams in my opinion is a great talent. But he's no Sean Taylor or Berry. For that reason I think he's top 10 but not top 5.

This draft is the first in some time where I actually feel confident about a pretty high number of players as top five selections.
- Adams would be untraditional - but would make immediate impact (given how our SS position has been abused by TEs and slot receivers for years).
- Cook and Fournette can both be seen as "rare talents" pretty easily and could sway my usual stance against taking an RB early
- Garrett, Thomas, Allen all seem like guys that would quickly increase disruption from our D-line
- Even the top two corners seem like a conceivable outside the box option here if the team doesn't land one in FA - though I prefer round 2 for a CB

It would be tough not to land a quality player in the first 3 rounds of this draft IMO.

Last two players Coughlin drafted here were Stroud and Henderson.
(But then, he already had Fred Taylor.)
