Hi, Jaguars Nation! Smile Our Jacksonville Jaguars will try to win their second game of the 2015 season, as their AFC South Divisional rivals, the Houston Texans, visit EverBank Field in the 26th all-time regular season meeting between the teams.

Houston leads the all-time regular season series over Jacksonville with 15 games and 11 losses, despite entering the NFL in 2002, while the Jaguars entered the NFL back in 1995, and a rivalry that began when the Texans won their first-ever regular season game over the Jaguars by the score of 21-19 at then Alltel Stadium back on October 27, 2002. Texans has also outscored the Jaguars in the previous 25 regular season meetings games with 587 points to the Jaguars 527 points.

Both teams have players injured to both teams, but the key injury for the Jaguars is the availability of Texans LB Justin James Watt, who suffered an illness during the past week, and might be a game time decision.

Texans unfortunately swept our Jaguars in both regular season meetings in 2014, and outscoring Jacksonville by 20 points, 50-30. Both games were played last December, Houston defeated Jacksonville 27-20 at EverBank Field back on December 5. Texans completed the series sweep three weeks later at New Radiancy Group (NRG) Stadium in Houston on December 28. Jaguars had a 17-14 lead after three quarters, but Texans QB Case Keenum threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Andre Johnson, along with a Randy Bullock PAT, then Justin James Watt sacked Jaguars QB Blake Bortles in the end zone for a safety, with less than six minuites left in the fourth quarter, winning 23-17 back on December 28.

Tom McCarthy and Adam Archuleta are announcing the live TV game commentary for The NFL On CBS, seen regionally in Texas, Southern Georgia, and Northeastern Florida, including locally on WJAX-TV CBS Channel 47, live on HD.

Frank Frangie, and former Jaguars players Jeff Lageman and Tony Boselli are also announcing then live radio game play-by-play and analysis, simulcast on flagship stations WJXL Jax Sports Radio 1010XL and 92.5FM , and the Jaguars Radio Network.

Cloudy skies at 69 degrees, is the game forecast inside EverBank Field, for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 0% humidity, 61% precipitation, and northeastern winds at 19 miles per hour.

Visiting Texans are wearing their navy helmets and jerseys, and white pants, while the host Jaguars are wearing their white jerseys, and black helmets and pants.

Both the Jaguars and Texans may continue to dress in pink during this afternoon's game to support the NFL's ' A Crucial Catch' Campaign, to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month throughout October.

NO injuries, win your second game of the season in front of your Jaguars faithful, and GO JAGUARS!!!!!

I'm curious as to the team's record ever since the OP and JW have been making these "official game day" threads. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the Jaguars talk, but if the time of the game isn't in the first sentence of the "official game day thread," I become less than interested.

Amelia always beats me to this one. I only make game day threads for the night games involving other teams.

Of course the game time for Houston at Jacksonville is 1:00 as usual. I don't think it has ever been later.
Let's keep it within 30, boys.

I need to fall asleep so I can wake up to watch my jags beat them Texans Smile
Let's go jaguars!!
We're gonna lose.

What? We got this!

Jaguars will be headed into London at 2-4 with a win over the Bills going a long ways toward securing the Gus' job while keeping the Jaguars in the hunt for the division crown. That said, lose either game and Gus' seat is gonna get really, really hot.

These official game day threads are getting getting posted earlier and earlier. Pretty soon, you guys are gonna be posting them ON Thanksgiving... smh...

This time next week I'll be watching my beloved Jaguars for the first time and swilling Guinness like its going out of style!

Go Jags!
no second half thread!!

Just please, no second-half thread.

Stop that. We're not losing the second halves of games because of the official 2nd half threads. Such superstition. On FB I'm told we're losing games just because I pick them every week... and just so happened to pick them to lose vs Miami... but still. Come on!

no second half threads

Starting second half thread now....

...just kidding.

I'm headed to the tailgate in 15 min then section 242!!

Go Jags!!
Strangely optimistic for this one, fellas....
Yeldon out. Time to ride the Gerhorse
DRob time

I hope they don't get too cute and not use Robinson. He's our best RB right now with Yeldon out.
