Full Version: Steelers/Chargers game official suspended for clock error

Wow. What a difference 18 seconds makes. Even the other six on-field officials and San Diego's clock operator could be in trouble. I assume the side judge was suspended because it nearly cost Pittsburgh a win and this kind of error is much worse than missing a penalty in the end zone. Remember Le'Veon Bell was so close to not scoring on the last play, which was first down, the touchdown had to be reviewed.

I've been disappointed with the quality of refereeing this season. Either the refs are bad or the nfl is making it too damn confusing.

Mostly column A. Refs are missing easy stuff and just making bad calls.
