Quote:lol if you think Allen Robinson actually runs a 4.42

Next Gen stats has his top speed at 22.13 mph 3rd for all NFL players this season so yes he's even faster than 4.4

Yeah but my eye test > your eye test
At the combine, he ran a 4.57-4.60 (where everyone is judged on the same surface and conditions).  He dropped slightly in the draft largely due to scouts indicating he lacked elite speed (worried about separation) and too many body/bobbling catches in college.  Sullivan has done a nice job with elevating his routes and hands skills, and maximizing his acceleration from breaks.  I think ARob has a very bright future.

Quote:So many WR in that draft. Hell we took Lee over him which I still cant figure out.
No one knows how good Lee could be if he could stay healthy

You don't get the opportunity to draft an "Albino Tiger" every year. It was too much to pass up.
If ARob could just learn to judge the long ball, he would be a monster.

Quote:I'll believe he'll be a fixture when I see it.

Color me disillusioned.

Let's not bring Color into this discussion.  Let's save that for our big slow often injured white RB
Quote:Why did he fall?  Honest question.
Unless a WR is godlike there isn't usually a good reason to go after good WR's in the first round or early first round. The reason for this is the abundance of good athletic Wr's in every draft. The pool is so large that it's not uncommon to see what would otherwise be top 10 talent in another position fall to the second round for WR's. Applying this same formula you can see that it wouldn't be all that uncommon for a second round or third round WR to develop  into an elite top 5 WR in the NFL.

Truly a once in a lifetime type opportunity!
Quote:He reminds me of cecil shorts, really crafty

He's a mix between Cecil Shorts, Reggie Williams, and Ernest Wilford.   Kind of reminds of a bigger, slightly slower Antonio Brown.

What?

I'd say more Justin Blackmon/Anquan Boldin.

I'd say more Justin Blackmon/Anquan Boldin.

Fast (Cecil) Strong (Reggie) and Rangy (Wilford - our end zone guy)
I was thinking Reggie Wayne-ish

Perhaps a combo of Wayne - Harrison - Hilton
He reminds me of Moss, Rice, and Owens.

To A-list:

Herman Moore/Carl Pickens, Willie Anderson, Jake Reed! Tongue

Like Boldin-Marshall combo to me.

Honestly when I see him play he reminds me of early years Terrel Owens. I think he could scrape randy moss status too.
Quote:They could have said the exact same thing about Jimmy Smith a couple of seasons into his career.

Players get injured. It's a fact of life in football. However, with the kind of injuries Lee has sustained, none are of the nature that would threaten his ability to reach his potential. They're simply setbacks. Players who have suffered a lot of injuries coming into the league have managed to get past that and have quite a bit of success. Ask Fred Taylor.

Come on. You can't compare Smith to Lee. Smith almost freakin' died.
