Quote:Please elaborate. Because Robinson is balling out right now. And I didnt even mention Hurns
Right now, we have two Keenans. If we had a Jimmy out there who could blow the doors off the defense and open things up underneath for the two Keenans (as well as Thomas, D-Rob and Yeldon), the passing game would be unreal. Maybe Lee is that guy and we just haven't gotten to see him at 100% yet.

We don't have a true speed receiver on this roster (aside from possibly Lee). Robinson is a big, physical guy who knows how to get open but won't be two steps ahead of a defender 20 yards downfield. Hurns just knows how to get open wherever he is on the field, but he's not a sprinter who can take the top off a secondary. Greene is a possession guy, so's Walters. Unless Lee comes back stronger than ever from injury, this is still a team that, on the surface, appears to have a couple #2 receivers, a couple slot guys, and one who's been injured too much to get a real read on yet.
You have to agree it is the best WR roster in several years though.

just having Julius Thomas on the field last week opened up the floodgates for the Allen Co. He forces the defense to switch coverage.
Quote:If M. Lewis could be the receiving TE we had all hoped he would be when he was first drafted in the 1st round

Not going to happen. Lewis might as well be a 6th lineman. He's beyond useless in the receiving game at this point.

I'd imagine we'll draft a TE in the 3rd or 4th round this year to take his place.

Oh yeah, easily the best since Jimmy and Keenan.

Robinson is not Keenan.

Don't you think, if anything, Hurns is more like Keenan?
