Quote:Terrible.

What's seriously frustrating is the fact that for 3 earlier games, most people were applauding the defense and berating the offense for not being able to score.

Example:

"Holding teams to 16 points should be more than enough to win."

Which was true.

Now:

"Scoring 30 points should be more than enough to win."

Really, the offense finally shows up, and the defense does a vanishing act. The loss of POZ hurts big-time IMO. His skills are limited at coverage,,, but he really is a "leader/captain" out there for the other guys. He goes a long way towards getting guys in the right spots and situations. Without him out there Sunday,, well, we saw what happened.

Count me as one of them. I said if the team score in the 20s they probably win the next 2 games based on our past 4 games..excluding the patriots.

Well they did and the D and ST failed.

1 day people, the entire team will play like the O did and we'll win again. .... 1 day.

The applicability of this reference is frightening.
How did Gus Bradley miss so many tackles?

Don't just single out the Gus Bus, Dave and Shad missed all those tackles too. I think the best thing would just be to decertify the team, nobody likes the Jags anyway and the media would be happy that there would never be any mention of Jacksonville or having a future SB in Jax.How about a poll and new thread for that.

Quote:lol bad defense.

Your dumb according to the franchise, because Gus Bradley is a Defense Guru & you can't seem to understand what the defense is doing because you are in preschool waiting to graduate.

Only the smart people understand that the Jaguars are the best team in the NFL despite their record, please buy season tickets.

Smack my head at some of these posts /threads blaming fans for being upset.

The Defense Gus built was geared to stop the run, and the Bucs ran over a 100 yards in the first half.

They cant do anything right, its time to fire Gus. ....   i wanted him to succeed but he hasnt.

Are you sure that they didnt try in hopes of Gus being fired?  Maybe the players dont like him as much as they claim?

Yeah I was on the same boat, but it's never going to happen, at least not here.
And thats how you lose to the worst team in the nfl...

many could argue that Jacksonville is the worst team in the NFL and we are simply in denial.

With 2 sacks 7 TFL and 23 missed tackles and who knows how many missed blocking assignments (6 to 8 ), is this team not trying at all or trying too hard to make impact plays.

We see it on offense, more shots down field and we have more sacks and a worse completion percentage. It's harder to quantify on defense but with emphasis on tipped passes and stops are we missing fundamental tackling skills?

Lions are trying to be first team ever to get to 0-16 twice
@Kane

Detroit almost beat Seattle in Seattle, something that nobody does.

we almost beat Indy in Indy without Andrew Luck.

Detroit >>> Jacksonville

Didn't know we could count almosts.

We almost beat Indy, almost beat Tampa....

hell, close enough to consider we almost beat the Panthers.....

don't give me that. Detroit has lost games it should have won.

Stafford was benched.

They have Megatron and Golden Tate.

And were supposed to have a strong running game with Bell and Abdullah

I know you want to hate this team, the coaches, the players...

but we really aren't that bad. We could have established coaches and stars not performing.

Instead we have a bunch of young 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year players and coaches....

I'd say Jax is about the 29th team in the league.

I'd put them ahead of Lions, Saints, and Phins.
