Bortles had most of his stats before it was a blow out.  Mariota stats today were also very impressive.  65.6% completion percentage (very good) except he averaged 5.84 yards per pass attempt, 0 TD's, 1 Int, 55.7 QBR and QB rating of 68.1%.  tin horns also have the same amount of wins as the Jags.  I've said I have nothing against Mariota and think he will be a good QB, but to act like Bortles is garbage in comparison is allowing your homerism get in the way.

I never said Bortles was garbage, just the opposite if you read all my posts. He played well, but to pretend he was as good as Mariota against this team isn't true. I'm not sure what stats you're using, but I'm guessing from today? I don't think anyone is surprised that a rookie in his 4th start ever struggled against one of the elite defenses in the NFL.

I'm telling you that Mariottas is gonna be a flash in the pan.  He's gonna flame out in 3 years...  I'm not gonna wimp out of my position.  Have the stones to own your troll... 

 

Mariotta only threw the ball 15 times against the bucs...  He had a lucky game...  He's fallen back to earth after that miracle.  What you saw today against the bills is what you have as your QB...  Just learn to live with it.

How was Mariotta today against the bills?  Oh let me tell you, I actually watched alot of the tacks offensive plays...  He was highly inaccurate beyond 10 yards.  He got one of his WRs killed and threw only to his first read...
