that Blake would have his best game as a pro and we lose.
Best game? Are you kidding? He missed some clutch moments. Wide open players all over the place and he suffered from tunnel vision. Hardly his best game.

As long as GB is at the helm as the HC, then (Not Than) there is always a possibility to lose.

Statistics don't always tell the whole story.

Agreed. Missing open recievers and skiddish in the pocket under pressure
Who would've though we'd have a "blame Blake" thread so soon after he threw for 4 TDs in a single game?

Me.

Yeah, me.

That's who.

Anyone criticizing Bortles after this game is an idiot and knows zip about football.

how many touchdowns does the man have to throw to please you guys? he had an excellent game, and plently to win if the defense didn't decide to take the day off

This was Bortles best game.

Get off your rag ppl
Blake was on fire today. He is the least of our problem

Not ragging on Bortles.

I was pointing out its possible to have 300 yards, 4 tDs and lose when defense and  a huge drop by Grant allow the bucs to score more than you.

Like earlier games this year we can sure shoot ourselves in the foot.

Oh and BB5 throwing to a man covered when AR15 was wide open was a def mistake on his part. Of course the dang announcesr just HAD to point that out.

We had no margin for error with what we did down there today and it bit us even with BB5 opening things up.

Bright spot, AR15 and Hurns are really starting to shin ala' Thunder and Lightning

if the defense decides to take the day off then BB2 is expected to compensate for that. He didn't do enough to compensate. End of story.

This is a crazy argument if there ever was one.  This is not even close to the end of the story.  Football is a team game.  How many Super Bowls have been won on the foot of a kicker?  Using your logic, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or whoever you want to call the best in the league should never lose a game...ever.
in that case bortles better throw 6 or 7 touchdowns a game.  but I think that might be unreasonable to expect from any qb. even manning or brady in their prime

Possibly 2 of the most clueless posters on the board today. 72% completion rate, 9.2 y.p.a. today. Every qb misses receivers, he may end up the top week 5 quarterback. Clearly agenda posters ( or in NY's case, agenda troller)
Wow there are some pretty dumb people out there.

Please go away!
Lageman said it best, anytime a team scores 31 points....they should win.

It wasn't BB5's fault, they lost as a team in spite of BB5 having a big day

Josh McCown blew up, so probably not.
